Hi everyone, I've been smoking Marlboro Lights for about 25 years. A couple months ago I started smoking (vaping) V2 e cigs. I liked them for a week then they began to have a metallic taste to them. My roommate thought so too. Anyway, someone at work let me try a Green Smoke e cig and I really liked how much throat hit (thinks that's what it's called) I got from it. A lot better that V2. So I ordered a Green Smoke kit, long story short, got the wrong cartamizors. I called and asked for Vanilla and Chocolate and they don't send flavors to California anymore. I ended up ordering the regular flavor. I'm now having second thoughts cause I do like the flavored ones.

So, I'm gonna return my Green Smoke kit but will other companies ban flavor carts to California also? I just don't want to spend money for a kit and 2 weeks later they tell me they can't send flavor carts to me.

I also need some help finding a good vapor ecig. I checked out the forum suppliers but there's so many of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bil

Hi Bil and welcome! First of all, congratulations on returning your GS kit! :D

If you're looking for a kit with small, cigalike batteries, I recommend Smokeless Image Volt starter kit. YOu can use their prefilled cartos and refill them ,many times, or you can get blanks and fill them with any juice you like.

Wow! There's a lot of customizations for ecigs on this site. I'm worried about the bad after taste like I had with the V2 ecigs. Green Smoke doesn't have a bad after taste. How are these with taste? How are these with strong vapor action? Can anyone else say anything good about Smokeless Image?? Katya, I see you live in California. Do you use these ecigs also? They will send me flavor carts here in California?? Thanks.

Hey B I L. Do you go to Riverside at all? There is a shop there called E-Cig City 4, they have a bunch of different flavors you can try before buying. They also have a variety of devices and delivery systems you can look at. Prices are going to be higher than the internet, but the staff should be able to help guide you with questions. There are other shops, but E-Cig City has another store close to me and I imagine that their setup would be similar. If you go to San Diego check out Vaperoo and if you ever head into the OC there are a lot of shops there.

I don't use them, but I have tried them. They are very popular among people who small batteries.

If you worry about flavors, just get a flavor sample pack--they'll send you anything you want! :)

Great advice! I love the Laguna Beach store!

In CA, you are limited to only having 10 cartos--anything more than that qualifies as "high-capacity assault vaping" and requires special permit from the State.

Juices are limited to the official "Approved Juice List" compiled by the State Police. To get approval for sale in CA, vendor must submit their juice to the State, where it is tested. Juices with bright colors are not allowed, because they might be marketed specifically to children, and bottles must come with a child safety lock.

When you buy a new mod, you must undergo a full background check, be fingerprinted, and you must store them in a locked safe when not using them. Mods that are capable of more than 10watts of power are banned, because they are deemed as "military-grade assault mods", and to buy extra batteries, you must submit a BATFE 4473 form, and there is a 10 day waiting period.

Oh, yeah, that's right--that's not REALLY the law in CA yet (YET...).

It was just a nightmare I had...

Just you wait. SB-648 is on its merry way to victory--unless we can somehow stop it.

Not funny.
