New guy here Need some help

HI all i been smoking green smoke only for 3wks no real cigs. everything is going great but the price is a lot so i looked into different brands and bought a ego style from kanger but now I'm having a issue finding a eliqud i like... I smoked 2 packs a day of new ports for over 15yrs.

So ya I'm smoking green smoke menthol and i love them and they work great! about 1 cart a day so yes I'm saving a lot of money but i want to save more.

So far i ordered eliqud from 4 different places and a few flavors menthol from ea trying to find a menthol and all of them are nothing like menthol and make me want to go back to smoking or my green smoke.

Now i would just smoke a flavor but when i smoke a flavor i crave a cig and it don't help me. Even with green smoke if i smoke a flavor such as vanilla i want to have a real cig. Idk why but i also get a headache with flavors to lol

So can anyone say they have found a flavor that taste just like green smoke menthol or a flavor that really taste like a menthol cig?

I have tried the below

Mt baker 4 different flavors 2 taste like hauls cough drops GROSS, 1 tasted like burnt waffles, the other tasted like idk nothing really at all. I also go a free watermelon that taste like watermelon with a bad after taste but if i smoke it i crave a cig and get a headache...

White rino menthol- taste like a over powered cough drop Gross

Diamond menthol taste like a reg cig non menthol. I can almost deal with it but miss the menthol...

i got a order of v2 liqud menthol on the way

I was thinking maybe try halo but i have spent over $80 bucks on liquid that ill never smoke already i don't know what to do. Any thoughts or advice would be great.

at this rate green smoke will be cheaper as I'm wasting so much liquid lol

Smokeless Image's Volt Ice Menthol.

I was a Marlboro Menthol Lights smoker, and the Ice Menthol from Volt was pretty much like the Marlboro Menthols. I've tried several other menthol flavors since but I keep coming back to this one.

Do you have any local shops where you can go and taste stuff? I know down here in sw ohio we have quite a few.

If you can, please go down to your local vape shop and try some juices. This is the best way, versus searching, ordering, spending, receiving, then being disappointed. If you can't do that, then order sampler packs. There are some online shops that sell menthol samplers. I've seen them, and don't use them, so I can't quite remember where I saw them. (Sorry, I use about 60 different vendors - for real). Others will come along and can suggest some good samplers. When I did buy samplers, I got them from MyFreedomSmokes, Johnson Creek, Halo, and a few others. Ultimately, I couldn't find what I liked, so I started to DIY. I found one flavor immediately, but went about 6 months before I could find another. I have a dozen ADV's now, and about 30 good juices, but it takes a while, and the DIY section of the Forum proved to worth it's weight in gold. Good luck! All the best!

Smokeless Image's Volt Ice Menthol.

I was a Marlboro Menthol Lights smoker, and the Ice Menthol from Volt was pretty much like the Marlboro Menthols. I've tried several other menthol flavors since but I keep coming back to this one.

I agree w/baditude on this one, volts ice menthol is pretty spot on...this was the 1st e liquid I purchased and for 20 year marlboro menthol smoker this is the closest you get to the real deal... I'm trying a couple of menthol flavors from mount baker, that are really great trading but are kinda "light" on the menthol, think I'm gonna "cut"it worth the remaining volt that I have...

If you can find it DNA Vapor has a great menthol flavor called dragonthol. it is a dragon fruit menthol.

I would try Extreme Ice from Mt Baker (if you haven't already). It's a very nice Menthol.

Personally, I LOVE Mentally Menthol from The Alchemist's Cupboard. It's very mentholly, and has a hint of flavor in it. One of the best Menthol's I've personally tried. Here is the link

Also, you can try the Nuport liquid. I haven't tried it myself, but eveything I hear says it's the closest to Newport flavor. Here's the link

Here's another to try. Super intense methol (from reviews) that is close to Newports. Here is the link

How do you find a vape shop?

Go to maps.google.com

Put in your address in the search bar, when the map shows your location, click "save".

Put "vapor" or "e-cig" or whatever in the search bar.

It will show you any local businesses that are vaping related. If you zoom out, it will show more.

Sorry to hear that. Well, the good news is there's better pricing and far better selection online, most of my locals only carry a handful of brands.

How long have you been vaping? I aske because when I first started, I was looking for a Marlboro Menthol replica. Everything I tried tasted, like you said, like cough drops. As I tried more juice and my senses returned to normal, however, I noticed the change in flavor. The cough drop taste goes away and is replaced by a cool, minty flavor.

Also, you can try adding a few drops to your fruity flavors. Gives the fruity taste with the cool sensation of menthol.

Right now, I'm vaping on Spearment from Mt Baker (tastes like it sounds, like spearmint gum), Bloody Mango from The Vapor Chef (amazing mango flavor), Candy Cane from Mt Baker (obviously tates like a peppermint candy cane), and Blue Jazzberry from The Vapor Chef (blue raspberry goodness).

The point of my flavor sentence is I've only been vaping for a month, and realized very quickly that I like the fruity flavors just as much, if not better, than the menthol/minty flavors.

Try a bit of everything. You might be surprised that what you think you like, is not actually what you like in a vape.

as for flavors/taste i agree to a point but my gf that has never smoked in her life tasted all the flavors and she even said cough drop and the company (mt baker) said the 2 would and that i should order 555 menthol blend and usa menthol so i ordered that and got it today the 1 is cough drop the other taste like nothing with a hint of celery yes the veg. lol and my gf confirmed it so idk man

i read good things about mt baker i think i got bad stuff or I'm doing something wrong but idk. the 3 different flavors all taste the same to me and my gf. i have 5 clearomizers so i can go back and forth.

I try the 2 others suggested after that i guess ill just suck it up and stay with green smoke. its still 3x cheaper then real cigs and better.

Oh lord, I'm sorry you had to endure that. Both 555 and USA are HORRIBLE. Usually from every vendor. They're just not good flavors, period. I threw 2 Evods away after trying those because no matter how much I cleaned them, the taste lingered.

I still strongly suggest trying the Mentally Menthol, and also try the other two (but don't blame me since I haven't tried them )

What I meant in the previous post was try branching out from finding that perfect menthol tobacco flavor. It's a holy grail, and is often never found.

Try fruity flavors. Try sour flavors. Try candy flavors. Try drink flavors. Heck, try weird sounding flavors.

You honestly might be surprised as to what flavors satisfy you.

Some of my favorite flavors aren't menthol at all. I love Hawk Sauce (ironically has a bit of a menthol feel) and Ecto Cooler from Mt Baker. I also absolutely love Honey Peary from The Vapor Chef.

I have been looking for that perfect Menthol E-juice myself to make my ADV, but seriously you'll spend quite abit of dinero looking!! I've been trying out the "Thug Juice" from MT Baker Vapor, and a host of others to include the "Ice" series, and there extreme ice strictly off reviews from other vapers on there website. And by far the Thug juice has grown on me, no a strong menthol taste @ all, but the perfect blend of fruit and Menthol!!! I didn't like it much in the beginning but after 2 days, it my new Fav.. Like CSshaver was stating in the prevoius post try and branch out from what you're used to and you'll be surprised!!!
