Hi...

My supplier sent me a 6ml Dual Coil Cartimizer tank. I have a ego battery. I'm having the hardest time getting this battery on and off the tank. I can't really tighten it up because the bottom of it turns with the battery. I'm afraid getting this battery on and off I'm going to lose all my juice :( Any suggestions on a easy way to do this? I hope I explained it well enough ;)

My favorite local store carries every imaginable adaptor a person could ever need and then some. When you cant screw it down all the way its usually cause you dont have enough thread before the tank hits the battery. Or it could also be not enough thread. Those straight through adaptors to change thread length are a couple bucks. If your supplier doesn't have any find a local store to show it too. Just a minute ago somebody posted VaporSearchUSA in another thread. Might be useful here.

Thanks someone3x7...here is what i have. When i go to try to screw the battery off the whole cartimizer and drip tip rotate with it...grrrrr!!! I'll check out my local vapor shop and see what they have to help me out....but in the mean time for the folks who have experienced the same thing...please chime in :)

Picture doesn't zoom in well, but, looks like too short of a thread. As for my experience, I'm usually the one that solves my sister's problems when something sparkly catches her eye. She has yet to get something there wasn't an adaptor for.

Edit: oh and you will also need a sleeve to cover that gap.

Does your tank have a recessed flange shape on the base? There are 2 types of cartos, flanged and round, here is a link to a flanged carto ...

Dual Coil XL Tank replacement 510 cartomizer for the 3.5ml and 6ml SmokTank - w/flange and either 1, 2 or 3 holes, your choice.

My tank has a recessed flange shape so that my rig does not rotate around my flanged carto.

It looks as though your carto has a flange but your tank does NOT have a recessed flange shape? If that is the case then I can see how your setup may rotate freely. Perhaps a different tank will give different results?

You might consider a clearmoizer like a rebuildable ce5. They are a lot less hassle and give a nice flavor. I think I'm rambling too much though. My apologies.

Edit: last ramble, I just rememered my local store had an adaptor for that too. So you could grab and twist the adaptor off instead. Fit nicely up to the bottom of her tank.
