I shall revert to 52. My ocular bad, hon. Sorry.

Well, if all cards are out, I think I know exactly what you were seeing (because I saw the same). Sometimes the brain will mush double letters together, and never "see them". And while it may be unusual for me not to notice double "D's", my guess is that you were katenizing "52 and 1" (equals 53!).

Si, senorita? :toast::D

Hmmm, well, that did it. I was gonna see you're post, and raise you 1, but instead I think I'll just fold. I'm lost. I thought I had a handle on this conversation but ....... :?: o_O As You Were !;) I'll just be over here :pop: sitt'in in the corner.

I can't say for sure, because I have enough trouble inside my OWN head, much less trying to get inside Kat's, but...

Your name, 52anddone. When I first saw it I thought, 52andone, which equals 53. But then I realized that it was 52-and-DONE (not 52-and-ONE).

It's not all that uncommon for the brain to meld doubles together, and see the singular instead. At least not uncommon in MY brain .

Does that make sense?

I get it now DPL (I just never thought about it that way, but you're right, I wonder how many others have been looking at it that way also), and as long as we're on Oprah this morning, I just took my med's so I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box right now (I shouldn't even be posting right now actually), it takes me a turn or two to get caught up to speed, and I've gotten into trouble (in the past) posting too soon after my med's have taken their effect and misunderstood a post and come back with one of mine. Talk about being in alternate Universe's sometimes, wait, let me sit down before I hurt myself.

Wow! Just the other day it was 60'ish degrees here at my house, and now I have snow flurries with 6-9" reportedly on the way. Guess I'll be doing a lot of posts for a while, I'm not getting out in all of that, well, maybe for "Vapemail" ;).

Same here, but we're expecting even more (oddly enough). Not very happy that I didn't fix my blower after the last storm, but hindsight is always...

Ok, fine. The KAT is outta the bag. DPL, in his incredibly kind way, seems to have taken this one for the team. But 52 (see? I can do math!), it was me all along. I totally saw 52+1, and re-nicknamed you 53! DPL gave the PERFECT explanation, but it was not his blurry vision that saw that...... it was mine.

 Then there's Kat, the Kween. What are we gonna do about her ???? ;)

You're Good DPL, you and this thread seem to be a good influence on me.

I always find it best to sit back and enjoy the show. [emoji6]

Ya know, I never even thought about it that way Kat. Good catch though:thumb:. Now if someone refers to me as 53, It will make sense:thumbs:. Sometimes I'm a little slow, as I have said before, "The Lights On, But Nobodies Home". ;)

I was just informed of a new study that has came out involving VG/PG/Carcinogens and vape temp. I'm gonna have a look right now but thought some of you might be interested also.
New studies find carcinogens in vg and pg at high temps, even in tootle puffers

I just watched the first video of where John Bellinger of "Evolv" gave a presentation of what Temp does in respect to carcinogens produced (and the safer Temps that we can set our devices to) and the PG/VG connection.

Then in another video a few posts down, ECF's very own "Kurt" (who many here might know from the Nicotine Comparison thread, and is a Chemist that works in the industry) gives a presentation on what L-Nicotine/PG/VG/Flavorings might contribute to the whole carcinogen subject and what atomizers might be the better ones for us to use.

This is frightening, but I am trying not to panic. I don't really want to learn about temp control if I don't have to. I'd rather wait and see if time and additional studies will neuter these findings. Going forward, I won't buy mods that don't offer temp control until we know more.

I would love to know if the primary danger the study cites is inhaling the dreaded dry hits? If so, I think the Siren is a pretty good bet as far as attys go, because I don't think I've ever had a dry hit with a Siren. If it's more complicated than that, okay. I don't want to ask you to go into a long complicated explanation, but I have been wondering about that.
