I'm not exactly sure why their system is set up that way but if you try entering your tracking number in the DHL.com site it won't work. For some reason you have to track it from the originating countries dhl site.

Not so sure how true that is. I mean I tried my tracking number that was emailed to me from Digital Steam at dhl.de & also dhl.com.
It shows 60% at dhl.de and no record at dhl.com (even though I received it yesterday).

it took 3 to 4 days for the 60% progress on DHL.de, then you should wait another 3 to 4 weeks to complete the remaining 40%?

Not necessarily. Mine was just like yours when I checked at 9am yesterday. I get home at 6pm and it was delivered. I check back at dhl.de & it was still at 60%. I check this morning at its still at 60%. LOL!
Well it shows that the item was picked up by DHL on 7/11 according to your tracking. Once its in DHL's hands, Digital Stream has no control of it.
yours about 3 weeks to be delivered.. why it take so long? Anybody can confirm with DHL.de that digitalsteam sent it by standard parcel or express parcel?

Well, that's mostly true but Intaste had problems with shipping and people said the same thing when in reality they didn't follow the law and because of that; packages were held up by customs. In that case, Intaste was at fault and the shipping company was just doing their job.
However, I don't know if this is happening to DigitalSteam and have no evidence that it is. I emailed them and was told shipping to America from DS takes 2-3 weeks. Has anybody been waiting longer than that?

DHL "global" (or whatever service Digital Steam uses) transfers to USPS and at that point no longer updates tracking through DHL. Your tracking page should provide a second shipping ID (match code) that you can plug into USPS tracking. My experience with Digital Steam was 12-16 days for delivery (2 orders - and never again for slow shipping at that price, Digital Steam's lack of customer service, and awful packaging). When I inquired with DHL about my package "stuck at 60%" for days DHL replied that 12 business days should be allowed.

The secondary number that's needed to track usps is the UPU code.
