Hi, I buy 36mg liquid and dilute it with about 50 percent propylene glycol. You can also use glycerine, which makes your device produce more vapour, but also seems to take away the flavour. I've mixed my own menthol by dissolving menthol crystals in propylene glycol and then adding 36mg unflavoured liquid and a bit of glycerine. I get my propylene glycol, glycerine, menthol crystals, small bottles, alcohol for cleaning and syringes from my local pharmacy, he normally has to order the pg in. I've just bought some Lipton pyramid teabags from Checkers to try the material in the carts, it's been getting good reviews here on the forum.

Hey Gavin, any news on those tea bags

I have been using normal teabags from Rooibos (The type for babies, can't remember the brand), all I can say is it much better than the std fluffing, I have experimented with different methods of rolling the bags, and have found an optimal method that works for me. It lasts about 3 days and you don't get the ugly burnt flavor when the cart goes dry! I really would recommend this method, try it a few times and experiment. I doesn't really cost you anything.

One tea bag is the equivalent of 4 new carts!

Wicking is also a lot better and I get more vapor than a STD Cart.

So basically you can use any type of tea bag, just some are better than others?

Yes, all the types I've tried so far work, the trick is to roll them tight or loose enough so they hold a good amount of liquid but don't leak too much, no more burnt fibers, try it. I just cut the seams off the bag, fold once then roll it to the desired width, cut to length then put it in the cartridge folded side to the atomizer.

find out the shipping cost and what not ill be glad to buy from the us. and send teabags to any body but payment would be needed upfront with addresses and names. if i can handle the request ill be glad to do it for gas money. which is cheap. buy online send to me and ill just resend to you. for the shipping cost. PM me if you want to talk over any details. plus not to sure about the importation rules and so on that would be on the receiver.

I tried the teabags, must be doing something wrong, 801 cart took 30 drops, but atomiser flooded. Any ideas? I used a full teabag, cut off the seams, folded it in half and rolled it up. faced the folded edge towards the atomiser.

I think 801's are too big for half a teabag, sorry I was talking about 510's when I said about that, with the 801's what I do is use a small square, less than one quarter of one side, to make a cap to cover the filling material. I use fishtank filter stuff for the filling. You could try putting in the other half of the teabag, what's needed is for the cartridge to be filled, but only loosely.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll keep trying to find a local solution, it's only food grade nylon mesh, there must be somewhere selling it for filters or something, and anyway the normal teabags are already a lot better than the standard filling.

I tried this today, also without realising that Gavin was referrring to a 510, and it has been working fine all day for me. I cut off all the seams, which were on all 4 sides so was left with 2 little squares, folded them together in half, rolled and placed folded edge to atty like he said. I only used about 10 or so drops though and have topped it a few times through the day but have had no floods, leakes or anything else undesirable. It is a bit on the short side, but will work ok with the 801 [I used it with the Janty stick with classic atty, which is the same as the 801 in size I think]

you might try fish supplier shops they may have it has a filter mesh bag
