------------------------------------------

I'm sending an e-cig and some DIY mango and red hots to a relative who smokes Marlboro 100 Menthols. I bought PA's menthol liquid, and am having a hard time finding the right flavor balance (always seems like too much, but i don't smoke menthols). I also bought their tobacco Blend Alc, hoping since it's base is supposed to be tobacco Absolute that it would be a great tobacco flavor. I'm not overwhelmed, and would like some help if you have experience with either of these flavors, considering the intention of sending as a gift, perhaps I should get another couple of different tobacco flavors or send the menthol to her, and instruct her how to add drops.

Thanks for reading,

EDIT: I dilluted the TPA Menthol liquid 10% per suggestion below (in menthol flavored e-juice 30 mg as a mixer, instead of just PG)
it's nice on it's own, icey, i can see the appeal of menthol now in other flavors and by itself.
my confidence in TPA is restored, i just had to embrace the menthol

I'm not surprised you're having problems. Menthol liquid and Tobacco Absolute are easily the two strongest flavors from PA.

For Menthol, 10% is perfect for a strong, pure menthol flavor. I'd say no more than 5% is you are mixing it with other flavors.

For Tobacco Absolute, 2 drops per 10 ml is best for a pure tobacco flavor. Again, if you are mixing, try one drop.

I diluted TPA menthol liquid to 10% menthol to 90% PG. So, its much weaker than straight from their bottle. But, I still only use a few drops in a 10ml mix. Menthol, like any flavor, is a matter of taste and I figured I could always add an extra drop, but you can't take them out. So, I made mine somewhat weak.

I like that. Thanks, dilluting sounds like a plan, but don't know what the nic content will end up at...such a bother.

just to clear this up...is PA's menthol liquid a good product, or have people found others or crystals are better?

PA's Tobacco Blend Alc. is, I think, quite different from tobacco absolute, even though it's the base for the blend...I'm not happy, but I've only tried 20%, maybe it needs more, lol.

I should start a similar thread asking about her "tobacco blend alc." unless anyone viewing this has experience with it. Thanks,

Mentol and VG dont get along in a high VG ratio.. Which is why the Menthol Liquid is in an alcohol base. If your diluting it, you can dilute with PGA or a 90 or above vodka :) (stick to clear alcohols, to avoid things that can ruin attys)
It does work in PG if you dont want to use more alcohol also :)

Thanks for your suggestion. I just don't like PG. After a day of chain vaping, my lungs cramp up. They don't hurt after a day of VG. But yeah.. 10 drops of menthol per 30-40 ml of VG works.. especially if you put the resultant mixture in a bottle and hold it under some hot tap water for a bit. I wasted so much of my menthol juice trying to figure this out. Oh, well. I still have bloody tons left, considering how little it takes to get a good minty flavour.

PA's tobacco blend is not directly the same as their TA. It is a weaker solution, mixed with EM I believe. I use it about like Seedman Commercial concentrate -- 12% (1.2 ml per 10ml) in tobacco eliquids, then add whatever else (a couple drops of regular TA diluted, some hazelnut, vanilla, black cherry,...).
