A rabbit would have a larger body. Its too big to be a rat. I still think it is a big squirrel. They have skinny bodies with small front legs with small thin bones in them. I have had 3 hunters look at this picture and they all agree it is a squirrel. They have killed ones this size numerous times. I remember my grandpa eating squirrel brains. My family ate squirrel all the time.

Yeah, Martha. It's hard to judge scale in the pic, but the thing was about 1 1/2 to 2 feet long.

Don't get me wrong, if it WAS squirrel, that'd be even better as far as I am concerned. As long as I don't meet one in a dark alley, that is.

Ok for those still interested in my gastronomic adventures...

Tonight I just picked up an assortment of prepared foods from the supermarket food court.

A couple different types of spiced chicken drumsticks. Fried rice. And a couple sides, one made from pork fat, and one from duck liver. The duck liver is delicious, the pork fat is, well, fatty. I SWEAR, I thought there was some meat in that, but no, all fat.

Anyway, the really interesting and adventurous part was the beverage:

Wait, what? Pineapple? Beer? Pineapple Beer!?!? Those two words do not belong in the same sentence, let alone on the same can!!

Surprisingly, it's good! Damn good. REAL damn good!

But alas, at only 0.65% alcohol per volume, I don't think I'll be getting a buzz off it.

You realize, of course, that it was pate? Not duck liver. Did that make it taste better? How was it?

No, no, it was sliced liver. Not Pate. I might have been wrong about it being duck liver, but it seemed too large for chicken. But it was definitely not pate. It was sliced liver. And it was great, in fact I'm having the leftovers for breakfast this morning. I've always liked liver. Even when I was a kid.

It's nice being the only girl especially if you are the youngest! We used to have a family dinner every few years where we would have liver and onions for those who liked it and fried oysters for those that didn't. Man...I love fried oysters!!!

they did a poll i read about pate they took people and had them try pate then try dog food. 8 out of ten could not tell which was the pate.
