Lol .Thats your problem . What you think is quality is not the highest quality flavorings .

Most people never read this sticky

Really? Those companies are recommended all over the place here... I did have a conversation about Capellas somewhere though, must not be in this thread. I'm going to try them. I'm not sure about the sticky you referenced, it doesn't mention anything about brands or quality, just generally approved purposes. I had read it before. What part were you referring to?

On diluting, if you just use a small portion of your strong mix to dilute down it doesnt take much to make up a test sized batch and if you go too far you still have the strong stuff to adjust back the other way. Just keep copious notes so if you do hit the sweet spot you can get back to it.

Not sure if this might be the case but I see your last analog banned indicates 10 days smoke free, congrats on that but I would think giving it a bit more time before making any solid opinions on flavors you like or dislike because your senses are certainly still changing,

Thanks and yep, I've started diluting down the strong mixes just like that, and haven't tossed much out completely yet hoping it, or I, might change :) I don't see much hope for some of them though, I NEVER liked artificial tasting flavors in anything. Candy, food, drinks, whatever. I guess I was hoping that these more professional style flavorings would somehow taste more "natural". I think the best I can hope for is that a few will come out like certain candy flavors that I do like- which really is only mints and a couple of the Jolly Rancher flavors (but not the knock-off brands).

(edit: oops, nevermind, I had somehow skimmed past the reference to perfumes in LindaGayle's response, and hadn't read the others further down the page)

Here & There
dirt monkey for every person in this forum you will get a different opinion about different flavorings by different companies. I believe each company has at least a few good ones but whats good for me and whats good for you might be completely different things. Some people here fail to recognize quite routinely that we all have different tastebuds and perceptions .

All I can really suggest is order flavors you think you'd might like in several different brands for comparison. Know that you will love some and not love others. buy tiny samples first. This is a trial and error thing and no one size fits all. ecigexpress has alot of brands in one place. High desert ecigs is a great vendor. I wish you luck in your journey and yes please read as much as possible on this part of the forum.

PS: You can always trade your flavors in the PIF section if you really find them not to your liking.

...ETA: Just so you know, some of your favorite vendors use TPA flavorings.

I've gotta give TPA credit - some of their tobacco flavors have a floral smell and taste to them but I just looked on their site a couple days ago and saw a recommendation that people start out buying small quantities because some people liked them and some people didn't.

That said, I quick-steeped some of their RY4 and it lost that perfume smell and taste - I don't think it's as good as FA RY4 but it's now certainly usable. A smidge of TE perked it right up too ;)
