discoloration on the wicks

so I just got these Giantomizers 3.5ml from a ecigexpress

(I have a Vision Deux from GV that I am using)

and I see this, which looks to me like rust.. or is it just oxidation?


and you can see it on the 2nd from the top. the centre column where the led connects, kinda looks blackish.

I havent tried to rinse them out or anything yet. Just wanted to see if anyone else knows what's happening.

It's only on the LED ones, and I have yet to order the LED vision Deux from GV to compare.
