Hi All,

I've recently noticed that whilst using my AFS v2 the colour of the e-liquid held in the tank becomes discoloured over time.

I find that a full tank will last me almost a week so the liquid is in contact with the atomiser for sometime.

I generally vape at 6 volts and I'm sure that the liquid is just getting dark because its getting burnt by the hot atomiser, but I just thought I'd check and that there we're no health concerns.

I think I'm probably better off putting less in and filling more reguarly.

Regards,
Jet.

...or using the same and just vaping more rapidly. Just kidding. If a tank is lasting a week, you should probably add a day's worth of liquid and refill in the morning. That's what I do.

I noticed the same thing, though, and have used it for 8 months without any ill effects. Hope that helps.

The discoloration comes from partially burnt liquid seeping back into the tank from the attomizer. This is especially the case when using the 901's. There is no harm from it.

I would fill less in there if it takes a week to empty too. Wish I could get off that cheaply... I fill mine 3 times a day. :)

Try running a 510 in your AFSv2 once. You need to use a 901-510 adapter, then take a carto condom and put a small vertical sslit in the side of it and slide it over the atty letting the slit expose only one of the air holes. It works GREAT, totally eliminates any leaking that you get from the 901's and your liquid doesn't discolor either.

take the condom rubber cover off the carto, fill with liquid, push the carto down into it again, this pushes the juice inside the end of the carto, then it is filled.

rather then popping the cap off of the cart and injecting juice that way. just a different way to fill one. there are youtube videos showing how its done.
