Wanted to order a bunch of 'samples' from ms t. Got a ton of 3ml bottles..

1 x Maple Pumpkin Spice Cheesecake
1 x Cheesecake
1 x Bananas Fosters Coffee
1 x Pecan Pie
1 x Red Hot Cinnamon Sticks
1 x Amaretto Coffee
1 x Pumpkin Pie Spice Cappuccino
1 x Pina Colada
1 x Blueberry Cheesecake
1 x Peanut Butter Banana Strawberry
1 x Eggnog
1 x Orange Dreamsicle

All came to 40$. Was wondering if anyone had a code to share? Also if you spot a flavor you know is particularly nasty in that list, dont be mean and let me know!! Also let me know if you have a favorite there that I haven't added.

And my ps:

I really ruffled Geoff's feathers over at TastyVapor just now :oops:

Silly me didn't read the home page and just skipped to looking at his flavors, and I got to thinking "well, it would be nice if I could get a little of everything just to sample... But there's no sample kits!!

So I saw him online and decided to mention it (Was even gonna offer him a little extra $$ for the trouble if he made me a sampler pack) But woooooooah boy, it didn't get that far! He got really irked and informed me that he does not and will never sell samples! Eek! I felt so silly and sheepish that I sort of ducked out and apologized profusely. I feel bad, too. Because I really don't want to spend 15$ on something I might not like.. regardless of the great feedback he gets from others.

Now dont get me wrong, he's a really nice, cool guy.. and even apologized for snapping at me and we had a short convo and I informed him that we all have sore spots (mine being decaff coffee), and his can be samples :p

It's just really too bad that I'm so reluctant to spend money on something I dont know Im going to like.. because he gets such good reviews :/

But anyway, I did order those small bottles from Ms T's, and just want to be even more stingy and see if I can snag a discount ;) (I deserve one for a 40$ purchase! c'mon!)

NOBODY should ever ever snap at you like that. He may have his own reasons for not doing samples but samples are not a crazy idea to ask about. As a business owner/general manager myself I can tell you he risks putting himself out of business by snapping at you like that for what is sure to be a common question....really crappy..any way i hear some people google for coupons and find them....i have not tried that yet

Yeah, definitely - that just screams "unprofessional tool", and there's absolutely no need for you to be even remotely apologetic. Anyone running a business in a cottage industry so heavily dependant on word of mouth should understand the ramifications of crappy CS...

The thing is, he's gotten so many requests for sample sizes that this is on the front page of the website:
WE DO NOT and WILL NOT SELL SAMPLE SIZES
Tasty Vapor is a custom, made-to-order e-liquid and Mixer entity. Creating samples means creating a surplus of e-liquids that sit on shelves waiting to be sold. We WILL NOT have any liquids sitting and waiting to expire. We will not make an exception to this rule. Everything gets made fresh, gets sold fresh.
Also, since this is a small operation and trying to handle a large client base, we are trying to keep things as manageable as possible. We feel that making sample sizes would create an additional workload and would thwart normal operations. We wish to continue normal e-liquid operations and allowing ourselves the time to make carefully prepared e-liquids. Becoming overburdened with additional work like creating droves of samples bottles, we feel would compromise the quality of the regular e-liquids we sell. This will not and cannot happen.
There's a sample swap thread at the TV forum for people to try things out, though. (Heck, I'll send you a few at-cost if you'd like, just PM.)

I've only heard and experienced great things about Geoff's customer service, so it's too bad there was an issue for you. I'm glad it went OK in the end, Sallana. Bottom line though, TV's juices are worth buying 30ml of.

Waiting on my Ms. T's order too :)

His stuff is great but that's no excuse for what he did. It's not unrealistic for a customer to make a request. All he had to do is refer her back to his home page and explain why he doesn't sell samples. This is not the first I've read about him jumping on people for no reason. Like others have said it's a good way to start loosing his customers.

i saw it on his website ....but that has nothing to do with the price of tea in china. i have signs all over my resteraunt that say we can not except 100 dollar bills...but every night several people have them and expect to be able to pay and i can not understand how i could ever want to snap at them......it doesn't even cross my mind to snap at them....it makes no sense. bad business

I"m a Ms. T regular and she doesn't have a coupon code available right now due to something with the website not being able to process them. She said she will hopefully be able to get one going again after she gets caught up on all her orders and has some free time to mess around with it. Her flavors are worth every penny to me and while taste is subjective I've never gotten a flavor from her that was nasty. I've gotten some that I decided I didn't personally care for as a vape, but definitely not because it was gross or bad quality. All her flavors taste exactly as the name says :).

Sorry you had a bad experience with TV, but at least he apologized so that says alot that he was big enough to own up to it. I too have been hesitant to order because of samples not being available because while he does get rave reviews on his juice it could just be an issue of finding out the flavor isn't for you and that's alot of juice to be left with if you don't like it. I still may order from him eventually, but will stick with something familiar lol.

I generally do agree with you. I thought others might be curious for the details of his explanation. Any retail business has to deal with many of the same questions over and over again, and it's easy to forget that for each customer who asks a question, while you (as the seller) have heard it a hundred times, they haven't, and they're rightfully judging you on your response.

That said, I figure nobody's perfect, and a rapidly-expanding small business can be crazy-making; what's important is that he recognized his mistake and apologized for it, which doesn't seem to happen with some sellers here.

I just want to say that I never meant to make the impression that Geoff was extremely rude or unprofessional. It wasn't that much of a snap and maybe I made it seem a little out of proportion.. the convo went something like:

----
Me: Sample kits?
Him: We DO NOT and WILL NOT sell sample kits. The reason is on the front page.
Me: *feeling sheepish* oh..
Him: sorry, it's a sore spot for me.

----
Edit:
He then went on to explain that he mixes his liquid TO ORDER so that it is extremely fresh, and selling sample kits would sit around on the shelf and decline the quality.
--

And that's all it was. I don't think it was extremely unprofessional or rude, but it just made me feel like a tool. So I wanted to share it and get more replies like "It's okay, we all make silly mistakes" instead of "That was so rude of him!"

Ya know? I definitely don't want to step on anyones toes, especially someone like Geoff who is very kind and so widely popular...

Anyway, thanks for the input to the poster a few posts in who told me about the sample forum. That would be GREAT to get Geoff's juice as samples from a third party so I can see what I like! I'll send you a PM after the baby is all settled :thumbs:

It's nothin'. :) We all do stuff like that. Wasn't so silly either, given that so many "homebrewed" juice vendors offer sample sizes.

(But, reading a few pages of Not Always Right usually makes me feel better if I get self-conscious about a little misreading. It makes you feel...a lot smarter. :p)

Do give some reviews on the Ms. T's when you try them! (I'm waiting on Blueberry Smoothie, After Dinner Mint, Raspberry Frosted Doughnut, and Mint Hot Chocolate. But I hear she's a bit swamped with orders since her site kept taking them during her holiday break.)

I've not yet ordered them, I had my cart all ready to go and was waiting to hear back on any coupon codes, so i think I may or may not have to go through and re-stock my cart. lol
