Hey guys, friend of mine popped round with a dead manual shortie battery, well it worked fine but now that the charge is pretty much gone she noticed the problem. It won't charge, I looked at it and it looked like the center hole had a melted buttplug in it as it was completely sealed over in white crap, problem is she only has hard cap premiums so no buttplugs.
Been poking at it trying to pick out all the white stuff, but I noticed compared to my manuals, the center hole is more than twice as deep, and the center post wobbles when prodded which mine don't do, so I'm thinking the battery has leaked acid or something that shes been vaping for a week.
Is the way to dismantle these the same as with automatics, put a carto on it, grip the carto and pull/wiggle it apart? Had a quick try but it wouldn't budge. Want to take a look at it, but if it's had it I can at least save the blue LED and nice green casing.
Thanks
