I had the greatest time at Disneyland last week. Just for curiosity sake I asked one park employee where the smoking areas were. She told me that there were two inside the park and one outside the main entrance. People really didn’t pay any attention to me using the e-cig. They were not expecting to see anyone smoking in Disneyland so my puffing everywhere went unnoticed.

Yeah, I would only expect problems if you were using one that looked like an analog, like mine :-( . You kind of just look like you're chewing on a pen. My next e-cig is a toss up between a dse-601 pipe, a mini-pipe, and a Pilot, and even though I want the power of the pipes, I'm leaning more towards the Pilot because it doesn't look like a smoking device.

This is awesome. I just got a season pass last month! The day I went there I stuck to the designated areas, since I don't really feel like explaining it most of the time (I was also with an analog smoker which made it easier since we were stopping anyways).... maybe I'll branch out on my next trip.

As far as the designated areas go, those three were the ones that were there when I went a couple weeks ago..... if they take out any of them it will probably be the one near thunder mountain, since the smokers aren't ostrasized enough there.

Disneyland used to have 3 smoking sections.

1. On the Rivers of America, across from Haunted Mansion
2. On the Big Thunder Trail which is behind Big Thunder Mountain
3. On the waterway between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, across from the matterhorn.

Which one did they remove?

I'm an annual pass holder they still have three and it's kind of ironic Disneyland came up since it's where I found out about e-cigs

I just got back from DL. I was smoking it in the restroom and while walking. I had some people follow me watching for my cigarette...they looked perplexed when they saw smoke come out of my mouth and no lit cigarette.

It was very nice to not have to waste a total of two hours a day just to smoke. I would get in a line, take a puff, then put it away.

It made me happy again. LIke I can enjoy the park all over again like the "good ol' days".

We were there the end of Oct. People all around me were getting busted for smoking. No one said a word to me. Same at Universal, although they didn't seem as fanatical as the Disney employees. I was using a black penstyle w/blue LED.

That trip was the entire reason I bought my first e-cig. Took 2 loaded pens w/me every morning and was fine all day. They were new batts, so the second wasn't used, just insurance.

I wandered around the park for 3 days with a ... 808? I can never remember what that first one is. Anyway, I got a couple of looks when I exhaled a good hit of vapor but mostly I was ignored. I didn't make an issue out of it, kept it casual because I didn't want to make a scene, but it sure was nice not standing in the smokers pit.
