Yea i just just started vaping. Read tons upon tons of this forum. Now that i got the unit and have tried it a bit, had a few questions.

So i got a disposable 510 from madvapes.
Cant link but its the single hole atomizer kit with 3 pre filled cartridges.

Now i chose that one because all the reviews i read said that the 510 is the overall best starter PV. The disposable kit seemed like a cheap trial to me ;). TBH i havent gone through one cartidge yet, but one reason i chose the 510 is because most reviews said it produces more vapor. I seem to be having an issue with the one i have gotten. Im assuming its due to the single hole atomizer that came with it? Its not producing anywhere near the smoke of an analog?

Anyways lookin for info and suggestions, if i enjoy this disposable i was going to get the cignot 510 starter kit with the pcc included.

Those disposables are OK, but they are not exactly Joye 510s, which are the original 510s, and, if you ask me (and not just me) still the best ones out there. So you can try vaping with them, and get an idea of 510s, but it's not quite a trial of the original.

However, there is also a learning curve with vaping, and if you are not even through your first cart, there is most likely room for improvement there, too. Remember, for example, to take long and slow puffs, not like puffs from a cigarette.

And don't bother with ordinary 510s and PCCs - do get an eGo from the beginning. It's not just the longer battery life, vapour is better, too.

Agree with Alex, it's par for the course.

Also, I do agree, if you do enjoy and find that this will be a suitable alternative for you... go for the eGo/Tornado/Excalibur (same thing different names). The battery life is just flat out superior, and it gives you all the benefits (and a few of the minor drawbacks) to using a 510 since it still uses that same atty/cart hardware.

+1 on ego.

Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.

Get the top charger, 2 batts and one cover. That should get you free shipping. Might grab some 510 atomizers while you're there although the one in your disposable will work.

Slow drags on that automatic battery on the disposable will get you better vapor - like drinking a thick shake through a straw helps.

Thanx for the info and suggestions on the ego, i had been looking at that. I plan on filling carts myself.

Does the VG liquid make that big of a difference?
Also will getting the fish tank foam filter make a difference as well?

Thanks again guys.

The more vapor from VG is quite noticeable. I use the blue foam as a plug on the top 1/4 of the cart along with the straw mod:

Works well for me. You can get more in on top offs and no leaks.

I noticed cignot atomizers are tagged wide band atomizer? What does that mean, and if i get a new atomizer will that also enhance the amount of vapor? Since the one i have is a single hole?

A wide band atomizer has a wide band of metal at the point of connection with the battery. There may be some functionality in that it may act as a heat sink but for the most part it is decorative. All 510 attys I've seen except for the disposable I have are two holes. Those are just the air intakes and frankly, I never noticed a difference with the disposable. Some think that decreasing the intake can increase the vapor but I've not found that to be the case - I'd rather have an easier draw - however, I'm mainly on mods and Tornados these days. I have the one disposable going just to see how many charges it holds - promoted as "at least 3" - I've gotten over 50 charges from the madvapes 510.

And if you end up getting any manual 510 and especially the eGo batt, you'll experience more vapor even with the disposable atty.

Thanx guys, I am goin to go with getting an ego here shortly, enjoy the disposable 510... besides the low vapor. Everything ive read and everyone said here the ego produces quite a bit more vapor, so i assume ill be happy with it. Thats really been my only qualm with the 510 disposable was vapor production. Otherwise it works great, well not too particulary blown away by the auto battery, also assume you get more consistent draws with the manuals.

Thanx for all the info guys.

Alex - are you opposed to trying out dripping? Just wondering.

Were you asking me? I'm not, although myself, I'm too lazy for it, and also, I flood the atties with dripping too often. Then again, my Fluval+Straw works fine, so I only drip when trying out new flavours.

But whatever works for you!

My first kit I got had autos even though I ordered manual and I had a hard time keeping the cartomizer running. I like to take long slow drags and the auto just kept shutting off. To keep it going I got way too much air. I have all manual stuff now and it is much easier to control everything and easier to make huge puffy clouds :)

On the third and last cart now, im starting to get the hang of taking draws and besides having to take a primer draw its working well now.

Just got this thing to try it, see if i liked it. Now im disappointed that im goin to have to go back to smoking analogs til i can gather the money to go on and get the eGo.

Going to get liquid from cignot as well, VG 20 ml is 9.oo anyone know better deal? This is goin to save me so much money lol. Looking at getting USA mix(marlboro), strawberry and watermelon for my first bottles. Any other good tasting recommendations?

From cignot (as you said that was where you were getting liquids); The BASIC range of their liquids is nice (lots of fruity type flavors, very nice) - also their ordinary RY4 is quite good :) Haven't had the others you mentioned.

You can get plain, food grade VG and PG at the pharmacy - but I can't tell you exactly what price it is - I would imagine cheaper but don't quote me :) Worth checking though.
