im not giving up on it yet. i really need to stop smoking cigs. im only 25 and get chest pains. i thought this would be the perfect alternative but i should of done my research before buying anything. i need to stop buying things compulsively.

Same here, just turned 27 and loved smoking, I still do actually. I smoked 10-15 a day on average. I've gone a year off and on and just don't smoke when I'm using the e-cig.. It's been about 2 months in a row now where I haven't had a regular smoke, and I don't even notice. These things are great once you get into the swing of it.

Hi Matt! Did you clean the primer off the atomizer before you started vaping? The gas station e-cigs are not nearly as good as the reuseable ones, but they are better than analogs ;) My husband started off with the njoy from Cox's smoker outlet, but very quickly ordered a 510 from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store.. Sorry you had such a horrible first experience. I hope it doesn't keep you from throwing out the analogs and giving PVS's a chance! Hope this helps a little bit

lol the e-cig i bought looks like a toy compared to the ones on this site you posted

Cignot is one of the better places to order from, bar none. Heck, they even draw a little doodle on each invoice they send out :)

If you're dead set on having it close to the size of a real cigarette, go with their 510 starter kits. If you can handle something more "sharpie sized", go with the eGo or eGo-T. The only real difference is battery life, and whether you want to refill cartridges or tanks.

510 is good but the battery life was disappointing to me! I seen people talk about the ego and it being baseball bat sized LOL
I got one as the battery time mattered more to me than the size and when I got it it's not as big around as a dime! Bigger than a cig but not huge by any means!
If you find your right equipment and juice this is a very effective method to quit the smokes! I was a 30 year hardcore smoker and it worked for me as well as my wife and 50 year smoking mother!
Good Luck to You!

The retailers have this "first buy a 510 kit to see if you like it, then move up".
A 510 for most users ends up in months of modding carts & cartridges, playing with various foams, pyramid t-bags, tweezers/bent paperclips/safetypins everywhere & covered with ejuice (which you've sacrificed at least half of to your carts).

Pay the extra $10-20. Buy an Ego-T. Then you've got a (longer lasting, longer service life) battery w/ 510 fittings, that you can put any delivery device (carts, carto's,clearo's,fluxo's,Groucho's, Harpo's, Chico's- and whatever else they come out for the 510) PLUS you can use low-res atty's on it, and you've got the T-tank system, plus all of the delivery devices made for the ego.

I have a box filled with the pieces of 2 510 kits (from 2 diff vendors), random 510 parts, and pieces of my broken heart.
At the time I bought it, it was the "state of the art". (510 carto's werent avail for them yet- so far I'm glad I didn't have to live through the heartache of futzing w/ them- but they have to be better than carts, and people DO like them). It drove me nuts, and I failed at switching to fapinf

Significantly increase yourcompatibility, and significantly increase your chances of success.

I agree 100% with deusXmchna, only been vaping a week now. I started with a 510. Carts wouldn't wick fast enough, constant topping off. Killed a couple carts trying to mod them. I think alot of my juice ended up in paper towels. Batteries only lasted about an hour or so for me. I would drain one battery before the other charged.

I also bought an Njoy 20 dollar kit from the gas station, it wasn't a bad system i guess. But the juice that they used tasted horrible. and the automatic battery was kinda a pain to get to activate.

Got my Ego-T yesterday from Cig-Not. I have had zero issues so far. It's definitly a hassle free vape.

Ecigs are Wonderful! Just have to buy the right equipment and the right liquids...

It's kinda like we are all talking about some award winning microbrewer...and you went off an bought yourself Olde English malt liquor.
It's not going to be the same. :)
great comparison from a beer drinker's perspective. lol.

lol yeah. unfortunately for me i didn't learn about this website until after i bought this "e-cig". i didn't know that so many people were even aware of their existence.
Matt

That is the way a lot of us got started, but you quickly found this site so that's great. Noob give you a good company to start with Nhaler-Drew will take care of you, feel free to call him with questions. There are also a lot of other good suppliers on this site who you can call and talk with before you buy again. Take the time to look around you will find a lot of great vendors , so look around you won't be disappointed.

Almost seems like all of us started off with one of those rip off e-cigs until finding this site or sites like this and learning what we needed to know! After my first 2 minute a charge crap e-cig which went in the trash almost immediatedly, I bought a 750mah 510 and have been pretty happy with it but want to try a mod next just still researching which I want to go with. They're so many I'd like to try now that I'm learning so much from this forum.

I first got into E-Cigs with the Krave. I didn't think it was too bad...it was good enough to get me intersted in getting a permanent PV. When I found with the Krave I bought (which lasted about 24 hours) I was able to only smoke a few analogs I found ECF and ordered my first kit (Joye 510).

I thought it tasted ok but that was before I tried all the delicious juices out there.

Here is a great map to locate vendors closest to you. VaporSearchUSA

HzG8rGrl - this is a great link! thanks so much for posting this. i was just thinking last nite that i wished there was a shop near me that i could just go in and wonder around and shop in - like the specialty tobacco/cigar shops.
