I have finally found my perfect set-ups. I have ProVeri Standard and Mini; Two Rebuild-able Penelope clones My main-stays (Euforia from Stormy's); RSST and AGT+; a couple rebuild-able drippers. My friends are now using Kanger products and rebuilding their coils.
So, I thought it would be great to buy, in BULK, enough Kanthal and wick to last years. So I ordered 50 meters of each 28Gage-30g-32g. A bunch of nickle and silver N/R wire. A bunch of fiber wick 2-2.5-3mm. My order was about $80
I was expecting the wire to be in those large black spools that I have seen that people have here and there. But these 50 meter orders came on little tiny bobbins, and each size of the 50 meter orders came in two to three of these little tiny bobbins with these little tiny stickers with hand writing on them, and these little tiny stickers also were used to hold the ends of the wire to keep the wire from fraying from the bobbins. And as you would expect, these ends of the wires slip out from under these little tiny stickers, if the little tiny stickers stay stuck at all. And when that happens, the wire springs and unravels from the little tiny bobbins and makes a dangling unraveled mess. Then you have to spend 5 to 10 minutes tightening them back to the little tiny bobbins. And when the little tiny stickers fall off of a few of them, then you have to figure out which Gage wire these little tiny bobbins have on them.
Does anyone know where I can get, or what I can use, to re-spool these wires on user friendly spool?
