I have been looking to try a rebuildable and from the research I've done so far it seems like the Kafun Lite Plus is the best way to go. I could have gotten the Russian 91 at a state side site but I wanted to go with the original to support the creator of this device, and not get a clone.

I ordered the kayfun, Povari ring, 5 meters of 34 ga. kanthal wire, and 5 meters of 2mm silica wick. I think that should be enough to get me started.

I ordered the 34ga wire because it would seem like I need the higher resistance to work with the Provari.

Right?

Now I cant wait to get it so I can do my first build...:)

I am very mechanically inclined and have years of experience with electrical/electronic devices, so I am confident I could do some good builds.

I'll try to post my first build when I get it.

Well, lets just say..........Everyone has to make choices.
I'm Glad you located what you wanted. I'm also Glad I picked up the one I linked earlier. Set it up just after and all I can say is OMG Spot on Perfect.

You might want to consider going 30ga. It is thin enough to heat quickly on an APV, thick enough to work well and last a while.
I spun mine up with 7 wraps 30ga around a 14Ga. blunt needle. 1.8ohms. Slipped in a cotton wick, wet it and confirmed vapor. Assembled, filled and after letting sit for maybe 4-5 minute..................WHOYAH!!! Excellent from the first draw.

34ga works nice in an Eternity or Kanger rebuilds.
