I've read that several people have been having problems with Cinnamon in the XL Clearo's, but I've been vaping them for more than a month. I vape nothing but: 50/50 or > % VG Cinnamon Mist, from Void Mist LLC. Only thing I've had happen so far is one Clearo started spinning on the batt connector. I just switched to another Clearo. I've since started using my MAP Tank carto, mostly because I like the Clearo's so much that I was filling one 3 times a day. The Clearo's seem to be juice hogs in my opinion. The MAP Tank seems to last me all day. JMHO

Cheers,

It is Extremely difficult to say exactly what makes a Clearomizer tube crack when e-Juice is put into it. Mainly because very few people know exactly what is in their e-Juice. And no one know exactly what type of plastic the tubes are or if all tubes are made of the same plastic. But it appears that the presence of “Esters” is what is causing the failures of tubes that do fail.

Ester - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Some believe that Alcohols in the e-juice are the root cause. Where is an Industrial Chemist when we need one?

I guess I need to clarify here a bit.
You use the tube part of the syringe, cut the ends off and use the modded tube as a replacement for the one that cracked.

You mean we don't keep the narrow end where the needle would go and try to wedge the atomizer in it? :)

I want to find a couple of suitable syringes to test this before I throw down the $ for a full box but I am going to try this.

There's a discussion thread at that link I gave you.
But the BD 3 ml syringe (once it's cut) slips right on the clearomizers and works great. I'm using it right now. If fact I just got in 100 of the syringes for future use. LOL

As for a couple to try. I went to CVS and asked for them (without the needle) and they gave them to me for free!!!

Edit: Everything up top fits perfectly.

Hmm...yeah I saw the thread on that. I'll keep an eye on that. I'll stop by the local RiteAid up the street and see if they have them available. Thanks!

Hi Guyver, I was the OP to this post. I hadnt used the clearo at all, I was just gathering info on them, I wanted to purchase them but found that youtube vid. I had wondered if they had fixed the prob yet. As you can tell by the replies some folks had probs and others are fine. I didnt want to get into mods with them so I think I will try the steel ones. I hope you havent had any probs with your clearos. Cheers

I've received no response from gotvapes.com yet. And I find out today my eGo battery died. It's shows fully charged but no voltage is reaching the barrel. Essentially I am out the battery, the juice and one cartomizer. As there are ten thousand other suppliers out there I'll be dropping gotvapes.com unless they respond.

Not trying to sound angry but I'm disappointed in the performance of these things.

I am using 1 clearomizer XL and about 5 regular sized ones. None of them have dissolved or cracked. I've been using Johnson Creek (Red Oak Like - Domestic, Tennessee Cured, and Valencia) and a few different flavors from Vaperite. I am sure some people have had issues, but not me.

I got mine from MadVapes, not sure if that makes any difference.
