There is a whole section for DIY Liquids but Im doing the same as you so Ill tell you what Ive read. Most of the DIY liquids start with either PG (Propylene Glycol), VG (Vegetable Glycerin) or just straight Glycerin. From there you can either dilute it slightly, with either distilled water or alcohol. You can also add a bit of flavoring. The mix I am planning on using is straight Glycerin with a bit of flavoring. From what Ive read/heard, straight Glycerin produces the best vapor (although I have yet to get a 100% answer on which is better, VG or just G). Most people say to use the highest proof alcohol you can find and most talk about using vodka. Ill be trying some different alcohols, since Im not really a big fan of vodka. I was also thinking, and read, that you can use those little menthol droppers (liquid breath mint if you will) that you can get at convenience stores/ pharmacies. There are also places that you can purchase different flavors, for example LorAnns, which has many different flavors and most people here use those. I would assume you could also use other food flavorings, like vanilla extract for example. The mix is more or less trial and error.. Start with a couple small drops and see how it smells/tastes to you, and go from there. I think that pretty well covers the basics, again theres a section dedicated to DIY liquids, so if youve got other questions, Id suggest checking out the threads there.

Hope that helps,

Thank you so much for all that info!! I've been stalking that DIY thread for a couple weeks now & I have purchased VG, PG, Lorann's flavoring, & some hardware :) I'm excited to try it all out. So far it seems that personal prefrence really is the main issue when it comes to these recipes & VG vs. PG, etc, etc... So I'm sure it's going to be a lot of trial & error :)
