I'm starting to see the merits of high drain AW batts. Nothing that another $50 won't cure, 2 batts, charger, few more parts. Yep $50+. Ya just gotta think of it in relation to a carton of analogs which only lasted me a little more than a week. Right now I'm running 2 x 14500 parallel ultrafires @ 3.7v and that pretty much lasts my workday. Then I put in fresh ones for the evening, and so it goes. At 5v I was destroying attys at a madding pace to the point of driving me back to 3.7v. I'll go back to 5v when I have the time to work with a few diodes and some multi pole switches. Like your work. Looks like you could bungee jump with it in your shirt pocket and I'd still survive.

Yea those AW's are amazing. I have a drawer full of trustfire And ultrafire's. It pays to buy the good stuff. As far as atties go, I go through about 1 a week. If it doesn't burn out it gets carboned up and the taste is aweful. $5 to $10 a week in atty costs is not bad compared to the analogs though. I figure I spend less than $2 a day vaping compared to $8 a day with analogs.

Just an update. Getting closer. I have had so many different ideas and along with that goes the waiting time for new parts to arrive. Should be finished in a week or two. Waiting on the brass for the end caps now. I think it will look better than aluminum. IMG_8639.jpg

Lovely absolutely lovely .Can't wait to see what else you plan for it. Any cool electronics inside? How about that PWM circuit you made Dragon . That would be wonderful
Dan

A PWM circuit is beyond my ability. Cisco is the one with the real talent as far as electronics goes. I can solder together pre-existing electronics but that's about it.

Im sorry wrong dragon lol . Dragon @ HEC wrote a wonderful thread on a PWM cuicuit . Cheak it out .
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...55-fet-pwm-power-controller-mod-new-post.html Still lovely mod .
Dan

I've seen that thread before, and it was posted about one month before Cisco posted the "Pulse" thread. Dragon seems to be the original forward thinker. Or he could just be the first one to post the idea. Doesn't really matter who thought of it first, I'm just happy that someone thought of it.

Put me on the list if the prices is right :) I like that finish you put on there.

What would the right price be? When I started this project I wasn't thinking about selling them but have had some interest since then. They're not real complicated to make but there is a lot of time involved. Plus the parts alone, not counting batteries, a charger, or atomizer is $40 to $45. You guys will have to tell me before I consider it seriously.
