just came up with a new idea while surfing around on madvapes.com

with the new drip on demand kit, i plan on making a vape pipe. The drip on demand will sit ontop of some sort of box...not sure yet on what to use...inside the box will rest a battery holder and everything else you need for a standard mod. the 510 connector will be loose and attached to the atty, the atty will be attached to the drip on demand kit.

there will be a switch on the opposite side and an LED on the top, and obviously correct wiring and what not, but it will look like this or
something along these lines...its just an idea so far...id love any comments or more ideas on the body of the pipe

Slight modification to you design dogpound.

Relocating the battery to the side of the box, it allows one to build a wall system separating the atty/carto connection from the rest of the mod. I put the switches on top, red momentary and green master. The through-hole area for the wires leading to the connector could be filled with epoxy/silicone to prevent any possible leakage from the DoD system from interacting with rest of the box. You could also skip the walls and put a PC tube around the atty/carto connector, even going so far as to making top/bottom caps so you could easily them to clean out any leaks, a perforated disc could be used as a mounting platform for the connector and still allow any overflow to drip down into the lower chamber.

Honestly if your soldering/wiring skills have a sweet fit and finish I'd almost say build it out of lexan and slap a crap ton of LED's on it, make it a light box.

i like this site, i just need to figure out what box would be best

Just be careful or next thing you know you'll be ordering a few sheets of 1.25" bullet resistant just to shoot at.

I'd almost recommend getting in the internals you want first, doing some measurements and then ordering a container for it.

Oh and as far as cutting/drilling it, you can drill it with bits designed for wood you just have to go slow and be gentle. Cutting wise, straight lines you can score and snap, if you want to use a saw you want a blade for plywood and make sure you tape you lines (helps prevent splitting) and for both cutting or drilling use a board behind it for stability. They have a cement on the site (iirc they claim they can only ground ship it) that actually softens the acrylic where its applied and bonds it together really well...just be careful with it, its not the friendliest stuff to get on your hands.
