I made a couple of 10 ml bottles with 60/40 juice a week ago.
Everything worked just fine till i was down to about 30% of the first bottle when i noticed i was getting less vapour from my carto.
I tried with different batteries before filling a new carto.
Same result,barely any vapour.
I then tried the full bottle of juice in a new carto and same again.
I had to make a new 5 ml batch today and it works just fine like before.
So what has happend to my batches over the week?

I`ve diluted down the nic to about 15mg and a mix of 60pg/40vg in a few 30ml bottles, to make it easier when i'm making new batches.

Could this have happend cause i might have forgotten to shake the nic bottle properly before mixing a new batch?

I dont have any other ideas..

That happened to me awhile back as well...just to let you know you're not crazy ;) It stumped me as well, but they were just small amounts (testing flavs) so I just pitched em. It was almost like they got watery...still had flavor but very little vape. I'm pretty good about shaking, so I don't think it's that.
Weird..

It's happened to me too. I used to mix up 30ml bottles but found the flavor drop off when it was about half gone. I've been making 10-15ml batches and I'm getting the same thing. I thought the problem might be the plastic bottles. I'm going to try glass bottles and see if that helps.

Oh now we may be on to something! It was cheap plastic and hasn't happened again since I switched over to all glass! Thanks TimberGal! :)

Nah,not plastic.

Had the same thing happen to cinnamon and absinthe I made last month...both went bleh...some in plastic, some in glass...all bleh.

Hmmmm....I just had another one go :(
30 ml plastic bottle...capella french vanilla and ny cheesecake flavorings in 18 mg nic base. It's probably 2 months old at the most. It was fine 2 days ago, now it's like water :(

It would be interesting to see if this also happens with the ones you've added ACV, lemon or Tart Sour to.

Yep, that's the first thing I thought! This is one of the few that
a. I mixed enough of that I should have transferred it to glass (frankly I thought I'd vape it up quick but I got distracted by tobacco extract lately!)
b. It started out as a test mix but I liked it so much I went big...but since it was in a plastic test mix bottle I forgot to do acv! DOH!

I haven't tried the glass bottles yet, but as Bostonsnboxers posted that it happened to her with glass bottles too I got to thinking. Maybe it's a matter of the juice steeping and the flavors getting stronger, therefore, according to 'Hoosiers Law', too much flavor equals 'no flavor'. I'm going to try adding a bit more base or VG when it happens and see if that helps. As far as the ACV, lemon/tart and sour go, it can't be that for me because I've never tried it. I plan on it though.

Nope...I said it hasn't happened with glass ;)
It also hasn't happened with anything I've added vinegar or lemon juice to. Mine doesn't just lose flavor, but develops a watery consistency as well....

Yep, I knew that, I mistyped

And yes! Mine gets watery too... BTW, I'm using GP 100% VG (they thin it to the consistency of PG, but with what?)
The only other different ingredient I put in my more recent batches that got watery is EM.

The mystery continues...

Usually with distilled water;pure grain alcohol can be used but then the product would contain alcohol and would be required by law to declare it as such and blah-blah...so my guess is 100% distilled water :)

VG can be thinned greatly simply by just putting your bottle under hot water for a minute.
