Well I just got my nic, PG & VG out of the freezer and tomorrow I intend to mix another 120 ml batch of 25 mg/ml nic, ~ 70/30 PG/VG. I made the last batch (of same properties) on June 20 according to the label I put on that bottle. I put the last amount from the 'batch bottle' in to my 'filler bottle', bringing the level up close to the 30 mls of that bottle. I'll get at least a few weeks from it, so I won't be needing to fill it soon.

Yesterday I made double the amount I intended to, and according to the
DIY e-liquid Combining Calculator by Milliliters at EcigVape.com
calculator the end result of 240 mls cost me $5.09. This batch will stick around for probably at least 7-8 months. Now I wonder how many $8 packs of cigs I would've gone thru in that time..

All that, and it's just fun to fool around with.

Moved to DIY E-Liquid from General E-Liquid Discussion
I thought about starting this thread there (the forum it was moved to), but I figgered since it was more a statement than a question that it probably belonged in the 'General E-Liquid Discussion' forum instead. If I ever learn how to play chess, I don't want you as an opponent classy.

You inspired me to dig up the costs and figure out our cost for our 9mg batches, normally mixed up in 300-375ml monthly amounts. Eliquidcalculator.com shows it's about 1.08 cents per ml, or about $3.24 - 4.05 per batch. Even bumping up to 12mg, one month of vaping for the two of us costs less than one pack of smokes.

I checked the calc/recipe page I use (120 25 70/30 -Id 36576 -By SoMDcomputerguy) and the per ml cost is less than a nickel. The bottles of PG & VG that I have are small (500 ml I think), so if I had bought larger amounts of them the end cost per ml would be even lower. The cigs I used to smoke cost about .30 cents each, and that was when I was paying about $6.00 a pack. That's about $8.00 now.

I just checked that page and the prices I had for PG & VG. I have the prices listed for a liter of each, so I guess this didn't cost me as little as I thought, but still..

Over the years it's gotten harder and harder to find real "live" people to play chess against. Online, yes, but if you ask me it just isn't the same. Chess is one of my favorite games. Go is my other fav strategy game.
