I got lazy/fancy, and skipped traditional switches altogether on my upcoming diy box (4x18650). Essentially, it's 3x18650 in parallel to power the atty, and a 4th battery to power a jet ski starter solenoid I'm using as my switch. It says it's 230A rated through the primary circuit, so I should be good. 10ga insulated copper wiring where needed, otherwise just ribbons of 1/16" copper plating.

Clank -> :vapor: -> Clunk.

You crazy SOB, sounds like a nice project. Post some pics for sure on that one. I've seen some high DC rated drag racing push starter switches before. There not as fancy as your average anti-vandal 3A switch, but there by far over rated for our application and wouldn't require a mosfet to handle to circuit.

They are kinda clunky and the back end of it sticks out a bit to much for a super small box, but it's still a small switch in general.
