Hi guys
Lest start from few words about myself. I quit smoking tobacco products 31 july current year. I was completely fine for 3 weeks and after that I got my pv, I missed smoke but not so badly to start smoking again. I didn't touched tobacco since that. I went through ego batteries, ce4's, ce5's, evods, vivi novas but so far the best combination for me is my eVic and anyvape davide glassomizer. I had 4 coils in total (two complete tanks) but right now I'm vaping on my last coil. I got myself 32 kental wire and silica wick. I made really perfect coil, spacings are equal and there is no hot spots but even so vape created by this coil taste like sick. I tried three coils, they were between 2.0 and 2.3 ohm and I'm vaping at ~5w. I Burned coil in fire and I did same with wick (I tried without burning wick but nothing changed). I just don't know what to do now, I believe that I'll stay without any coils in next couple of days.
Any help? What I'm doing wrong? I tried my coils on evods and on my glassomizer but there is no difference.

maybe shorted? I had an issue with siegel #19 mech mod when i tried rebuildables i ended up returning it, to much hassle but the first hit i did have was amazing and great vape but coil quickly like you tasted horrid and hurt my throat. the vapestore guy who was helping me told me he gave me coils for .3 ohms though which was probably way to low. so maybe try oxidizing with a torch before making it? and thicker coils? I also heard silica can be bad with it

I tried my best with picture (I have flavour wick on top but for obvious reason I took it off to take picture)

The coil looks to be too low in the head and too close to the rubber grommet and too loose on the wick. The grommet will heat and taste like burning rubber.

Try a rebuild with the coil higher in the head -- so the wick is even with the wick opening and not pulled below them. Also, the coil is way too loose on the wick. This will also lead to coil overheating and burning the juice while heating the grommet -- tighten up your coils on the wick. Not too tight, the wire should just touch, but yours look too loose and not touching the wick. What diameter wick are you using?

I have 2x1mm going through coil and 3x1mm as a flavour wick. I own 2 and 3 mm wick but they're braided and really hard to handle and deal with.

I need to add couple of things.
My new coils do NOT taste like burned coil. I know how coil that need to be replaced taste like, i know how burned liquid taste like and I know that my coils don't taste like any of this. Its pure vomit and nothing else. They taste like that from first puff.

That is the taste of heated rubber grommet. Try a build doing what I said. The first photo shows your coil way too low in the head and way too close to the grommet. Your coil is also too loose on the wick.
