I thought with the Holidays coming up..some easy crafts projects were in order. Fun to do with kids or just as something neat to hang up. Add some you have found for Halloween, fall, Thanksgiving or Christmas!

The only thing spooky about these ghosts is how easy they are to make. And though they're certainly festive for Halloween, we think their draped translucent forms are almost elegant. Yes? No?
To create the ghosts, you'll need squares of cheesecloth (which is becoming harder and harder to find in stores these days). Just drape the squares over inflated balloons, then spray thoroughly with heavy-duty starch. Once dry, you can add eyes (made of paper circles) or just string them up to trees with fishing wire or thread. Simple.

If you have a collection of broches, earrrings, necklaces in costume jewelery..make them into small wall plaques for a gift to a ladies bedroom or to yourself. These happen to be butterfly broches but anything will do. Paint gesso over a junk picture from a flea market or dollar store and then add any other background color (wipe it off fast to give it an aged look.) Pin or glue your jewery to the canvas.

Although Im not a woman. I have 3 daughters & a wife so Im def in touch with my lady side. I showed my oldest daughter how to make these & she has been making them & selling them on 1 of the gun forums Im a member of. She does it to be able to help pay some of the cost of being on a competition dance team. It gets really expensive with all the travel & costumes & fees. It runs about 370.00 a month once everything is factored in. Shes sold quite a few of them & its the only reason shes been able to remain in competition.
She makes both the bracelets & keychains.

If she could figure out how to make a pocket or cube she could start selling PV lanyards here in ECF!
