Hi guys, i just started making ny own e juice 3 weeks ago. I do it simple and follow very high rated recipes on e-liquid-recipes com. I use 1 ml syringe to measure my aromas. Also use vg with 3 mg nic and mix in pg. My mixes Are all 30/70 pg/vg. They all taste great the first day but after one day i loose almost all flavour. I am using a 22 mm wotofo lush rda dual coil at ,25 ohm. Is it vapours tongue or am i doing something wrong? Appreciate any help and sorry for my long post.

They probably need steeping. Some juices are great when mixed and vaped right away, but my experience is that many will probably need some time for all the flavors to meld together. It may taste great the first day because it's a fresh mix and the flavors haven't really started melding yet. That's JMO. Don't give up on them. Try them again after a week or so and see if they start to come alive again. :)

Uppdate: after rewicking and trying a store bought e juice called bazooka sour straws i only get a feint flavour from it to.
Is that a juice that you know what to expect? I ask because if you haven't had it before It may just be how it is. It does sound, since your only getting slight flavor from a store bought brand, like it's possible you may be experiencing some vapers tongue.

Thanks guys appreciate the hjelp, it seems like it or i have some realy bad taste buds. My girlfriend gets the flavour very well.

You might not have bad buds after all. It is recommended for this very reason that new vapers wait an average of 6 months before they attempt DIY. Some folks can get by with a shorter wait and other not. It can take quite a while for some to recover from the revenges of smoking.
For vapor mouth:
Bits of croissant followed by a mouthful of distilled water, then spit out after swishing is said to refresh the pallet. Bread absorbs flavors, saltines can be used to stimulate taste buds back to normal. Malt vinegar mouthwash it's said to clean the palate, then vape right away.

Another question of topic, i want to wrap my own coils but dont know what kind of wire to buy. I am vaping on wotofo lush 22mm and prefeer 0,3-0,5 ohms dual coils.
My taste buds are bad, I usually almost double the suggestions. Could be old or watered down supplys/juice as well. I enjoy 26 awg nichrome, dual 6 wrap should be around 0.3 ohm.

Hi Lovevape & welcome
That is a strange complaint in that usually with just mixed DIY you get the predominate flavor masking everything else. After steeping the other flavors will begin to come out depending on what they are they will take different steep times to do it. I've never heard of flavor just disappearing in one day. What overall % are you mixing the flavors to, the total of the flavors in other words? Also what brand of flavors are you using? I can see why some folks are questioning the possibility of vaper's tongue but even that dosen't fit well with your scenario.

To your wire question I would suggest Stainless Steel (SS316L) since it can be used in both power & TC modes and it lasts a long time. I would suggest 24 & 26 gauge will be your most used sizes.

You may be over-flavoring your juice. Try mixing a small amount of a single, simple flavor like a fruit.

Use no more than 10% concentration, then shake and vape.

Over-doing the flavor concentration is a common mistake. Sooner or later, the juice will turn into something unexpected

I was surprised to find I vastly prefer muted flavors that I can mix myself to storebought ones. I have control over how much I put in, and it's generally an extremely small amount-- like 30 drops to 30 ml, so 1%? I actually find I taste them better that way, and it's been consistent-- Bavarian Crème, Caramel, mixed berry. I was surprised but figured I'd start low, work my way up if needed. I'm not a super fan of super sweet....

That said, I'd been vaping about 3.5 weeks before I mixed my first flavor.

That being said, it would be odd to taste them initially, (day 1 only) and then not at all.... Are you rotating flavors? That is also something that helps me still "taste" the minuscule amount of flavoring I use.

Thanks for the tips :) i am following this recipe: http://..................../recipe/858846/DIYorDIE Apple Buttah (original)

Thinking it must be great since it won diy or die mixology contest and have good reviews.

Thanks for the sugestion :) I eliminated that by mixing at different % 5, 7 and 10 standalone fruit.

Hi :) i dont know how many % drops are. I use syringe and think that it might not be so accurate compared to mixing by weight. Drops are different size many things can impact (flavour, bottle, dripper etc)

That being said the flavour mix you mention with fruit works well acording to my girlfriend. I made a similar one with peach and mango :)
