DIY E-Juice?

Since i began vaping, i've always used pre-mixed e-liquid from my local vape store. I heard from a couple of co workers that mixing your own juice saves a ton of money when compared to buying them premixed. They recommended me to purchase my items from Vices Electronic Cigarettes online. Has anyone purchased their VG, PG, and Flavors yet? They seem reasonably priced and i'm interested in mixing my own juices.

Cheers!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!:)

For all things DIY head on over to the DIY ELiquid Forum.

You will not be able to post there until you get in your first 5 posts and the servers update at :25 past the hour. Make sure to read all the "stickies". Also check out the blogs by ECF members Hoosier & dannyv45.

dannyv45 posted this thread a while ago. Wonderful information here: I've updated my recommended reading for people new to DYI.

For a juice mixing calculator consider using eJuiceMeUp

Yep, DIY is cheap, if you can avoid the urge to purchase every flavor under the sun :)

I've only dealt with Wizard Labs for mixing stuff (and The Flavor Apprentice directly, my preferred flavor company), but I hear Bullcity is good too, for buying from many manufacturers at once. I did recently get nicotine and VG from MyFreedomSmokes, only because the price was incredibly right. DIY is a whole 'nother world...

to ecf. So glad you are here. Just a wonderful place to be as far as I am concerned. I have always used vg and pg from Essential Depot and have been very pleased with them. Very good shelf life also which is why I buy the gallons. As far as flavorings, I have found that Vaping Zone's Gourmet and Super Concentrated flavorings are exceptional. They may cost a bit more but you use so little in a recipe that to me it seems more economical. Yes, without a doubt, DIY is the way to go if you are wanting to saving money. It is also a lot of fun and very rewarding to make your own. There are so many good threads on ecf that can help. Good luck to you and happy mixing.

I've done a few "test" mixes in the last six months or so. But haven't really begun mixing in earnest. I DID want some to sit/steep for a while, but truthfully, I think I've just been lazy and using my pre-mixed collection as the go-to. But...I'm planning on doing some mixing tomorrow. I've got everything here, ready to go, so no more putting it off. Gotta start reading the mixing threads and see what people are doing...

Read everything you can, mate -- every thread and every post. If nothing else, the time you spend reading is time you aren't spending ordering hundreds in DIY supplies, and then you're stuck with x50 more acetyl pyrazine than you can use before it goes bad, so you give some to friends who say it's great... so you might as well see if you can sell some of your mixes to recoup your costs, and then you've started another juice company and have to think of a name and buy Quicken.
