So I've been doing the whole DIY E-juice thing for about 4 months now. I've finally come up with a flavor that some friends and I absolutely love. I've been making single 15ml bottles until I came up with this recipe and decided to jump up to a 1500ml batch. I mixed everything up in the exact same ratios and the juice tasts pretty much the same but maybe lacking slightly in flavor. My question is this, do recipes need to be tweaked when making large batches? Does anyone have experience mixing large batches of juice, any issues?

well as far as i am concerned, there should not be any difference between larger batches compared to smaller. Make sure, that when you were making those 15ml batches, you were absolutely certain about the amounts of your recipe, because the smaller the amounts of the ingredients the trickier to have an accurate measurement of their amounts. Moreover, make sure you let your juice steep a while before using it. Steeping needs time and definitely improves the flavor.

Make sure it's mixed VERY well, then mixed again, then mixed again, then mixed some more. Also as the previous poster noted, maybe just needs more time to steep in such a big batch. Did I mention to mix thoroughly?

Also, if you're vaping the same flavor all the time it can end up getting muted as your tastebuds get used to the flavor. Look up Vaper's Tongue.

Thanks for the replies!!! It's sitting in a 1/2 gallon jug so there is plenty of space for the juice to slosh around when I shake it. I shook the jug up real good for about 10 minutes when I first mixed it, I plan to shake it up at least every other day for 2 weeks then fill 15ml bottles and maybe steep for another week. I've also come down with a little head cold so maybe that is effecting my tastebuds.
