Diy e liquid wizard labs question, sweet?

Hi, I have just ordered a bundle of e liquid DiY stuff from wizard labs. It will be my first time mixing my own juices. Ive bought all the mixing stuff and testing equips. Nic, PG, VG, and 13 different flavors, mostly fruits.

I was wondering what the deal is with sweeteners...? I was seeing some generic sweeteners on some sites that are used to sweeten up your mixes. Is this essential for DiY to get them tasting like pre-made liquids? I was just wondering... Like for example i ordered strawberry. Since I didnt order any sweetener will it taste like a strawberry without the sugar/natural sugars?

If so, or if i have a flavor that doesnt taste sweet at all. Is there a home remedy? or do I need to order sweetener from somewhere? Also, Im not talking about sugar free sweetener. That sounds gross. I guess some type of homemade remedy would be preferable since I'd rather not place another order and pay the shipping on one bottle.

I only use wizard labs and the flavors they sell (which is tpa/tfa). Most don't need sweetner. I have not tried the strawberry.

The best suggestion I can give you is start with low concentrations of flavor. 5-10%. When I started, I was adding too much and it was very perfumey. I also added sweetener before tasting and they were alway horrible. When I stopped adding the sweetener, it got better

You can use stevia, which is available at places like whole foods, of you need sweetener

I use TPA strawberry. I find it tastes like fresh strawberries, a little bit tart to the taste not sweet but not sour. I use it at 8% which is good for my tastes. I also mix it with Bavarian Cream from TPA at 5% which I find is very nice and that sweetens it a little. Strawberries and cream reminds me of summer, its winter here now.
