Yeah, I completely agree about the Trustfire batteries. They have a bad name. Maybe ok for flashlights, but not in mods. Whoever decided to put those in any mod doesn't know batteries. Hopefully they didn't also throw in a Trustfire or no-name charger, too.

Get you some high quality IMR batteries. They are safe chemistry, high drain batteries better suited for use in a mod. Any of the listed batteries in this blog are recommended:

Susan srry bout tht did not explain myself to well im tryng to make a homade mech mod but need some ideas?
Next...... yes they work in my vamo they are 18350 trustfire batts and im pretty sure they are protected butwhy do u seem suprised?lol I mean r they dangrous?

I have yet to see any {blank}Fire battery that isn't ICR chemistry - the kind of batteries that can flash explode in a split second if mistreated. If and only if they are protected are they marginally acceptable in an electronic APV, but in most cases their amp output is so low that they aren't usable for vaping anyway.

You are using a battery type that might have been acceptable - about four years ago. Since safer chemistry IMR batteries are readily available there is no reason to use Trustfire batteries at all. When it comes to vaping "because they were cheap" does not win here. Not with batteries. In a mod with no electronic protection at all? Don't even think about doing it.
