Im using imr 18350 for my k-100(fully charged) with my new nimbus. I did a dual coil which got me 0.6 ohm on my vamo for each of the coil 5 wrap (32awg kantal a1 wire). I sense the btm part and the fire button of my k-100 got hot when i fired my k -100 and vape with my k-100 for 1 minute , so i just stopped to let it cooldown because i read about the safely issue for the battery. After that the k-100 just won't fire, nothing is wrong with the k -100 because after that i put my other battery with my aga-t2 on the k-100 still works as normal, so i tried to put the battery on my vamo it can't sense my IMR 18350 battery as well, ok... Here's my question :

1) How i get it my nimbus ohm to 1.5 -2 to work on my vamo device? Because when i used single coil it reads 1.5-1.9 on my vamo but with dual coil it reads only 0.6. ( With 5/4 wrap of 32 awg wire) and i got 30 awg, and 28 awg kantal wire.

2) If i'm gonna fire with my fully charged IMR 18350 battery, is it safe? or i could just use a IMR 18650 battery?? Or i should just purchase a few new battery like MNKE IMR 18650 1500mAh High drain Battery? I didn't know because i thought more wrap = more ohm, but dual coil i really do not have an idea.

3) So is my IMR 18350 dead?

Sorry for my bad english, critics are welcome because i just started vaping for a month plus, need some help here..

With dual coils, resistance is halved. I presume the battery's rating was exceeded and its safety kicked in.
Your battery is most likely dead.

As mentioned dual coils are half the resistance, and you are in 'sub-ohm' territory, where you don't want to be right now. Batteries can fail, safely like yours did, or explosively!

3) So is my IMR 18350 dead?

probably.

Your 'bad English" is much better than 'my' your native language!!!

An AW IMR 18350 has a max discharge of 6 amps.. You were trying to vape at 7 amps..

Your battery is most likely dead.
I really would just toss it. Be sure to recycle.

There is no reason why you can't wrap a coil 7-10 times to achieve a safe resistance. I have to do it all the time with the provari and trident.

I would suggest using a calculator like ohms law and reading up on your batteries maximum output before you slap stuff together..

Probably gonna come of with an attitude.. Its not meant to.

Sent using these stoopid hooves..

in a warehouse buried near Univille SD
and there are no 18350's made will work for subohm coils that I have seen

and yes, get several of these MNKE- ONO Vaportrends- ONO Vaportrends- mnke- MNKE IMR 18650 1500mAh High drain Battery- for your mech - as you do NOT want to vape them all the way down to discharge in your mech and they do discharge fast when subohming - get a multimeter to check voltage on the batteries while you are vaping to get an idea of how long they last and stop at 3.4 volts remaining (better safe than sorry)

here is some more reading also

You didn't do your homework, did you? Your 18350 battery is ruined because you used it in an inappropriate manner.

I agree with t2ak. You were asking your 18350 battery to push more amps than it had. You shouldn't push a battery past 80% of its continuous discharge rate. With a 0.6 ohm coil you were good bit over 100%.

To do sub-ohm coils, you have to use a battery which has enough amps in reserve to fire the coil safely. In other words, you have to know your battery's amp limits in continuous discharge rate. This is the most important specification of the battery when doing sub-ohms.

You also have to know how to use the OHM'S LAW CALCULATOR to know how many amps your coil will pull from the battery. If the coil pulls more amps (current) from the battery than it has, the battery will fail, and very well could be driven into thermal runaway. Imagine the below IMR battery being in your mod when it goes into thermal runaway. Can you say, "PIPE BOMB"?

As others have already said, there is no 18350 battery which can pull off sub-ohms like you were asking it to. Only do sub-ohms with an 18650 IMR or hybrid battery which has over 10 amps in continuous discharge rate. A number of these batteries are in the first link below:
