DIY ejuice questions/advice, and best flavours to use.

Hi.. im pretty new to vaping.

Day 4 of no smoking, doing well with my Kik Premium pen.

Its time to upgrade . I have ordered the Kangertech Kbox 40w mod and will soon be ordering the Aspire Atlantis 2.

As for ejuice, im already using a lot to say im only using a cheap vapor pen, so with me upgrading to a 40w mod with sub ohm tank it makes sense to think im going to be using a lot more so it also makes sense to make my own juice and save a bit of cash.

Ok, so im thinking 80/20 pg/vg mix.. I have done some research and tried using the online calculators but I would rather ask to be on the safe side.

Im ordering:
500ml VG
100ml PG
100ml (72mg nicotine VG based)
Flavours (PG based)

Could someone please tell me how much of each I will need to make 30ml @ 12mg nicotine? and the same 30ml but with 6mg nicotine??

Really appreciate any help/advice

what companies are are you using and what are the best flavours? (your personal opinion)

Hi, I havent bought yet im still looking at places to order from.

I have used a couple of online calculators but im not 100% confident in myself for the first go at DIY which is why I would like a little help on the mixing ratios if anyone can help on that It would be appreciated

Yep, a juice calculator is the best way to go - there are several on ECF also.

Nicotine juice 72 mg (100% PG) 5ml
pg 1ml
vg 18ml
flavour (vg) 6ml

12mg nicotine


Can someone please confirm this is correct?

As for a supplier, I'm going to guess that you're outside of the US (because of the extra "u" here and there).
myfreedomsmokes.com ships internationally, and is a reputable supplier.

Without flavoring, you've made a 12mg.you'll need to cut back on the PG dilutant if you're adding any flavor.

You always need to add in your flavorings when calculating to reach a specific nic level. People often forget that the flavorings dilute your mixture.

As for how much flavoring to use, that depends on where you get them, what flavors you're using, and how strong you want them to be. Different vendors sell different strength flavorings, so you may need 15% flavoring from one vendor and only 5% of the same flavor from another vendor to reach the same level.

I highly recommend you spend some time reading through it. It can be overwhelming at first with the vast amount of information, but there's a lot of good threads about specific flavoring vendors and the recommended amounts for their specific flavors. There's also a Recipe section which will give you a good start on how to produce your own mixtures.

On average, how much are you all paying for a liter of PG and VG? Locally can source at around $18-20 (in Canada) but looking online the supplies may be cheaper but shipping seems negates any cost savings

In the US I paid $52 for both 1 gallon of PG and 1 of VG with free delivery. That's roughly 3.78 liters of each for $52 in total. I don't know if they ship to Canada though.

Check Amazon. PG and VG usually sell for around $23 per gallon on Amazon.
