So Ive recently ordered some pure nicotine and 2 gallons of VG I plan to make my own juice [edited]..A local vape shop said they would buy some and see how it sells. I currently vape 36mg of nic in 100% vg. Can some1 tell me where is a good place to buy flavours for mixing. Also working with pure nicotine is dangerouse I know but I plan to xfer the nicotine into a large jug of vg and bring it to a 36mg base in one go so I dont have to deal with pure nicotine more than once. What is a good way to mix the nic in with the VG because a tine drop of nic into a huge jug O VG is going to require alot of thurough stirring to ensure the nicotine is evenly mixed in. Perhaps a magnetic stirring device or a magnetic wand in the jug and a motor with a magnet spinnin outside the jug..Any suggestion on this would be helpful. As well as a good source for flavourings.

Thanks I would have posted this and my broken sigelli elsewhere but I cannot post untill I have posted 5 times in new members thread area.

Thanks!

  • Reason: talking about dangerous levels of pure nicotine which falls outside the remit of what is allowed to

You'd be surprised how many uninformed people come through here. A good place to order small quantities of flavorings to try them out is Wizard labs. Wizard Labs

Get two more posts, you can just say hello to new members, and then go to the DIY section. A lot of very good information in there. I have not worked with that high a concentration of nic, much less tried to dilute it down in VG. If I was doing it, I'd heat the VG, say on a heater vent on/by the floor so it wasn't so thick, mix and shake the daylights out of it. Be sure to shake any bottle with nic in it before using also.

One other thing, ECF don't like talk about selling stuff, it's just not allowed, so as you move on to the DIY section you might want to keep mum on that or posts might start to disappear. I wish you good luck with your endeavor. DIY is a lot of fun, some frustration, and very rewarding.

I'm wanting to get into mixing my own juice as well, so I understand wanting to gather information on the process. What I don't get is how you expect to make a viable business in an ultra-saturated market, selling a product you don't yet even know how to make, much less how to refine flavors to something people want to vape? No offense, but it seems like the cart is about 109yds ahead of your horse.

The juice market requires a variety of nicotine strengths and near-pure VG juice at 36mg is going to be an extremely limited market. It isn't going to work well in basic tank devices and that's WAY too much nicotine for most people who're dripping. To successfully market a juice, you will need to be able to provide it in several nicotine strengths, including 0, in most cases. I have to wonder about any shop that would agree to sell any undeveloped product.

I think the other suggestions to slow down and do a little research and experimenting BEFORE you even consider trying to make a business out of it are sound advice. It'll save you a lot of time and money. Develop something that tastes good and THEN take it out there for people to sample - then maybe you'll find a market. I sure wouldn't go trotting some 36mg juice around as a sample flavor because it's going to be WAY too potent for 99.9% of vapers.

Good luck with your endeavors!

OK, I know you don't want to hear it, but be aware that just being in the same room with an open container of pure nicotine can induce nausea, vomiting, and potentially overwhelm you. I hope you are using a respirator and have some atropine on hand.

Sound advice..Thanks...And really untill the nic arrives and prove to be what it claims I cant really make plans..Thats counting chickens way to soon.. I have no issues useing 100% vg in iclear 30's and several other atty's..PG irritates my throat so I avoid it.But I will pik some up when the time comes. I want to look into all orgaic flaves in 100% vg..hafta wait n see tho.

Just to throw my couple of cents in...

Check the rules, read them thrice... and pay attention to discussion of NIC levels above those approved... as well, if anyone is even going to discuss general sales, they should be going through the vendor forms for this site... and of course, getting all applicable licenses etc for their locality.

Best of luck, but please wait until you have some UNIQUE flavors and a proper lab set up before you start selling anything to a B&M.
