DIY equipment question

So I am wondering what's the best method/tool to pour juice from my beaker into those 30ml plastic squeezable bottles, using a blunt nose needle takes forever since I use max VG only, when I tried to use my funnel, there's some kind of vacuum or something that always happens no matter how I hold or tilt the funnel that it stops pouring liquid into the bottle and only does so at the very top so it spills EVERYWHERE

I tried using glass drippers to do it but that is so sloooooooooooow

I really don't like glass bottles as those always seem to leak when I shake, they lay on their side etc. so I want to continue only using the plastic ones

IDK but a funnel with a smaller dia. than the bottle might work, Does for Me anyhow. I bought a funnel from Wal-mart in the camping section. IIRC it is a coleman fuel funnel.
It has a "little itty bitty tip' that fits My bottles with a air gap around the edges.

Lift the funnel slightly with the hand you're holding it in the plastic bottle with. As long as there's a tiny little gap for air to breathe out of, it won't back up like that.

No suggestion here, but just a tip about the funnel--don't just set the funnel down on the bottle; hold it up a bit so that air can escape out of the bottle as the liquid goes in. That might solve your problem with the funnel technique.

Yep, the air gap is key.
You could also use the syringe without the needle tip, even drilled, out to make a larger hole.
The joys of working with VG.............

thanks, I will try holding the funnel higher, its slanted on the opening to try and prevent air but I guess it traps it since the hole in the bottle is so tiny. I am wondering how the big ejuice companies do it with mass production

search amazon, they're fairly cheap.

Another way of looking at the solution, thanks for that.

Either way, the trapped air in the bottle prevents the liquid from entering. Vent (or squeeze) the air out, and the solution will go in!

I'm usually adding to glass containers (whether it's eliquid or something to do with kitchen foodstuffs), so squeezing the bottle isn't an option.

Warming the vg above room temperature to around 90 - 100 F will thin it out. Makes pouring easier.

Bend a paper clip and hang it on the rim of the bottle , drop the funnel in on top. =Air gap.

I make elquid about once a month and mix the ingrediants in this type of bottle and use the funnel style cap shown in the photo to pour into my 18 ml dripper bottles. It takes a steady hand but works fine. For reaching into a bottle if nic that half full I press a couple inches of clear tubing on to the end of the syringe I use for that purpose instead of a blunt nose needle. The tubing is available by the foot in most any hardware store. Take your syringe along to test for fit.

Warm the VG to 120f or so and it will thin to almost the consistancy of water and pour very easily. Also as mentioned earlier make sure there's an air gap between the funnel and bottle. As for me with a steady hand I just pour directly into the bottle over a sink. I've developed a pretty steady hand with all that practice over the years.

As far as glass bottles go, there is a fix. When you tighten the cap and look at it closely, you will see it start backing off. To fix it, tighten and hold it for 5 secs. It will then hold tight for you and not leak. I was taught that trick and have not had one leak since. Hope that helps.

And I just discovered the other day that you have to leave some room for a dropper if you use glass bottles. Or juice overflows all over it when you put the dropper back in. LOL
