I'm a noob at DIY but i think i have a good understanding of the use of the e-juice calculator. Not having a problem with the nic level or base my main question is with flavor percentages.

I have mostly flavour art flavors and understand that most of them should be mixed at 1-2 %. but how do I configure a recipe of more than one flavor ? Should I mix my flavors as single flavor mixes then add them together later to get a good flavor?

I'm sure this has been asked here before but i couldn't find a post with an answer to this. I know the e-juice calculator has another calculator built in but didn't really seem to find the answer to this on there either.

I'm using ejuice Me Up. I tried a small batch of a few flavors the other day and set the overall flavor calculator at 15 % which gave me a different set of numbers to put into the calculator. Which set my main flavor at something like 8% which was way to strong and couldn't even taste the other flavors. I was hoping for a little bit better instructions on how to get them closer to what works for other people before I tried again

I don't use that extra calculator.....I just put in what percentage I want for each flavor into the main page. so if the 8% that you got for your main flavor was too strong, drop it to 4 or 5%...or increase the other flavors for a higher total flavor %....there really is no set % for total flavor that works across the board....Some mixes do really well at a total of 8-10% and other combos do better at 15-20% total flavoring. ymmv on total %

Edit: after re-reading what I posted, I hope I didn't confuse you on what I was trying to say

Perhaps Baddog, that you might have misinterpreted some of the box fields in the calculator.
Take a look at the How To page for clarity: eJuice Calc How To

I think your maybe using the Flavoring Percentage function on the Tool Menu. That is used to convert Recipes that use the 100% method.
If you are creating your own recipe then you do not need to use it. Just enter each flavoring percentage on the main window form.
