DIY Flavor recipes?

I'm looking for flavor recipes, and not what 99.9% of my search results have found me. I'm looking to make my own flavors, not buy them (which any query related to making flavors leads to). Maybe there's a different word of what I'm looking for. Maybe I should make one...flavor crafting? So far I have found how to make coffee flavor, really simple actually. I'm wondering if anyone knows some sites or other sources with actual recipes for someone to make flavors with stuff they have around the house or that you could buy at the store. I'm interested in anything simple or difficult - fruity, creamy, sweet, etc. Also does anyone know of a list that recommends what to use and what not to use in juice? I would post in the e-liquid discussion, however I'm unable to post there. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply, however I am looking for flavor recipes (how to make flavors) not juice recipes and how to mix juices.

Ah - sorry! I see the distinction. I know very little about the subject of flavor creation except that it appears to require a good handle on chemistry (based on a very limited amount of "research").

I would be interested to hear what you learn on the subject - good luck!

Hi! I am curious for several reasons - $$ savings, learning, knowledge of ingredients. For example, I could buy coffee flavoring premade, but I have no idea whats in it, probably artificial flavoring and artificial colors. Or I could make my own - propylene glycol and coffee grounds.
