When trying to mix new flavors or come up with a new flavor. I use PG/VG as a base with no nicotine that way if it tasts like crap i don't have to vape it. I can just throw out or try adding others flavors to it. Once I make some that i like then i can add the nicotine. Of course keeping track of what i am mixing. Saving money by not wasting all my nicotine base.

Yes. A good way to do it is make 1 ML of no nic juice in a 3ml bottle.
Put .8 ml of pg/vg and then put .2 ml of flavoring. Then add pg/vg and dilute the flavor until it's just right. You might have to do some math to figure out how much the flavoring percentage changes as you add more PG/VG but it's a very helpful method to find out what percentage of flavoring you're going to want.

Also, I always look at the reviews on the website of the people who made the flavoring. Some of the reviews will tell you how potent the flavoring is and will give suggestions on how much you might want to put into juice.
