Hi,

I am interested in mixing some e-liquid myself to save a bit of money. I don't have any confidence in being able to mix together individual flavors and arrive at something I would like to vape, so I want to try the DIY flavoring from BlueMist vaping. What I'm not sure of is if they are the same as what they use in their pre-mixed offering. Are they at the same concentration, are they already sweetened if appropriate, etc? For example, if I mix 15% of the hypermint flavoring into my own pg/vg/nicotine solution, will it taste the same as if I ordered their extra flavor hypermint pre-mix (Assuming that I got the proportions right on the base)? It seems like it would be the same, but I just wanted to check before I spent money on it.

I would assume...and this is just an assumption! But most companies are mixing at 20% concentrate. As are most DIY'ers. Unless you are using a tobacco flavor then its more like 5%-10%. Of course bluemist doesn't tell you what the percentage of concentrate is in there ready made juices. So you are just gonna have to guess. I would say 15%-20% is probably right.

Well, when you order from them, they give you the option of "regular (10%)" or "extra flavor (15%)." That is why I was assuming that 15% would be the same thing as their extra flavor, but they don't come out and say that their DIY flavors are the same concentration as what they use in their pre-mixed version. I'm just trying to nail it down so that I can see how much I'll be spending per mL and if I'll get the same experience as with their pre-mixed liquids.

well I would go by that than. And figure a 3ml bottle will make a 30ml bottle of e juice mixed at 10%. To me 10% just seems low, buts thats just IMO. I do a lot of DIY and have always mixed at 15%-20%. Im assuming they are getting their flavors from were all the DIY are getting theirs. Some STRONG flavors are good at 10% but most have to be higher IMO

Thanks for the replies BTW. I think your right. I'm just going to have to assume that those are the right proportions for the DIY flavors. I'll let you guys know if I find out otherwise.

How did it turn out? And what porportions did you decide upon? I'm interested in the same, so any feedback would be appreciated. Maybe even make a guide! :p Let me know, thank you!
