DIY FlavorShack: Jingle Bell Cookie

Just received my first ever order from diyflavorshack.com. In the box was a gift -- a 20 ml bottle of something called "Jingle Bell Cookie e-liquid" in zero mg nic strength. Hmm... OK; that was nice of Dawnmarie. Except for a cappuccino and a coconut bought elsewhere I'd never tried sweet juices before. Never thought I'd like 'em.

As luck would have it, I also received a shipment of unflavored nic juice from somewhere else today. So I mixed 1.5 ml 60% nic with 3.5 ml of Jingle Bell to at least man it up some, to 18 mg strength. Filled a new SR carto (as I am given to understand that SR is better with sweets, LR with tobacco flavors) with my just-mixed concoction, and O.M.G!

I've not tasted anything like this in a looong time, since I found out I have diabetes. To me this tastes like maybe a cross between those shortbread cookies you can buy at Christmastime and those Christmas sugar cookies, with an undertone of cotton candy. Big clouds of vapor too. Not much throat hit; I'm assuming that this is a heavily VG mix. Next I'll try running this up to 24 mg to see if that gives me a throat hit without diluting the flavor too badly, and/or a LR carto. Or maybe not. A big throat hit might ruin this sort of flavor. It's very mild & soothing, but not a weak flavor. It's definitely there, and I'm sure would be more pronounced at lower nic levels.

Conclusion: I like it, throat hit or no -- this is very tasty. I might just get to liking vaping flavors I can no longer eat.

Question: Am I in danger of having my man card revoked? Hey, I added nicotine...

EDIT to the above: The last phrase in paragraph three should read: and I'm sure would be even more pronounced had I not diluted it with flavorless nicotine.

Now. I neglected to mention what a great deal I got at DIY Flavorshack. I ordered 3 sampler packs of flavors (6 - 1 dram glass! vials per pack) and three larger bottles of tobacco flavoring from Dawn, applying a coupon code for a 20% discount. ;-)

When I got my shipment (very quickly, I might add) I thought she'd screwed up. Way too much stuff there. All that I'd ordered was there and correct, no problem. PLUS there was the above-mentioned cookie juice, five more dram vials of flavors that I hadn't ordered, and a strip of blue carto filler all in a bag labeled such that I knew these were freebies (don't remember the exact wording)! And pipettes! She threw in like 15 or 20 small pipettes. I'm thinking that the extra flavors and pipettes were things she figured I'd be needing. I suspect she was right.

I see this as an outstanding deal.
