Hmmm I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy empty coil blanks for ce4+ ce5+ pro tanks etc and the seals plastic tanks etc. You know like if I wanted to make 50 protank 2 coils or ce4+ ce5+ coil heads by hand. or build my own tanks from parts or refurbish something me or a friend of mine had etc. Mind you I know that the whole thing is pretty cheap anyway but if I wanted to build my own coils from brand news parts wick and wire or reseal something etc..

Any Ideas???????

Doug,

I've seen 5 packs of Protak heads for as low as $5. I think by the time you buy the metal cup, rubber insulator, and positive pin it will cost you that much. I can look around and see if I can find the parts, but I don't think it's going to be much cheaper than buying a few 5 packs, tearing them down and rebuilding them to your liking. Good Luck! :toast:

Cheers,
Steve

Your probably right lol.

I started buying the stuff to make the juice because it was a little over 4 dollars to make 30ml and 8 or 9 to buy 10 in the stores around here (and I could customize it :2cool:) and I recently bought the stuff to re-wick and rewind coils because I could get it dirt cheap and knew with a little practice I could do it (I have already taken a couple apart and rewound them missing a coil or two because they had burnt. I did have a bit lower ohmage but close enough for government work lol). so I thought "HEY these coils cost money in the first place so if I buy the parts I can't manufacture and started making my own I bet it would be a lot cheaper to. You know just a random thought from someone vaping on a strict budget.

Thanks for the reply Steve I appreciate the help

You can buy a fifty pack of pre-made wicks and coils for under ten dollar i.e. less than $0.20 each. This is what I'm doing this on my mini-protank 2 and is working out great. You can also buy extra o-rings and seals as required. If I understood you query, that's the route I would suggest.

where?
thnx fer the reply

Good job, man. Do what you've got to do -- just don't buy those cigarettes, yuck. I think I paid ~$10 for the mini-ProTank 2's and then got a 5 pack of replacement heads. I really like the vape, no leaking, etc. Then with premade coils/wicks, they're cheap to maintain with small, weekly effort. I think I was paying around $4 just for disposable CE4's at my local B&M. YMMV. Good luck!

This post has the links. Good luck!

it's not the wick and wire I need. Just bought fifteen feet of 32 kanthal and 15 feet of twisted silica wick and I am using the cotton I pull off my equate qtips when I clean out the airway on my protank 2 twisting it up and using if for a flavor wick. What I am looking for is the coil housing. You know... the metal and silicone seals.

Thank you though

Yeah I got a pro tank 2 and gave my gf my rebuildable ce4's. Unfortunately my "local" vape shop is in Rochester, ny 70 miles away from where I live. I am going to be rewicking and rewrapping my own coils just bought 15 feet of wick and 32 gauge kanthal.

Thanks for the help.
