DIY in China?

Alright, so please spare the China bashing comments on safety related issues, the reason why I'm posting this is because of that.

Was hoping somewhere on this board there is a fellow member who was able to source safe ingredients here in the mainland for ejuice DIY.

So if you have any reputable source for ingredients, please chime in.

I really want to try to DIY the njoy Artist Collection ParaMour recipe found here

So being in China for about 8months now, got hooked on taobao, did a search for PG, VG, flavoring, etc and did get alot of hits.


Does anyone know of any reputable US PG/VG/Liquid Nicotine vendors? The top hit on taobao (ie: Most items sold) for PG, VG and nicotine was from a supposed US company called "Vapor"...also I did find vendors selling Flavor West products...

Your problem will be getting it through customs. I checked on sending him supplies and/or e liquid, and we didn't think it would go through. And he tried to send me tea, and that was not ok either.

yea thats what I've found after some research as well. Customs... I guess I have to put off DIY'ing in China. Maybe I'll check out the local vape shops and see what they have to say.

Hangsen does concentrated flavors. As they're in China, it might be worth looking into.

I could go to a pharmacy but from what I've seen so far pharmacies here in Shanghai seem to only carry domestic products. I can't even get Advil here. Would really prefer US products.

I did a quick google search and didn't come up with anything helpful but I did hit on a couple of posts from an Australian forum talking about getting nic and other supplies from China. They seemed pretty happy so it might be worth checking into if a viable US source doesn't pan out.

The thing with US source is customs and their lack of transparency with shipping these liquids into the country.

But the thing is vaping is actually quite a big thing in most major cities. There's a sub cult following it feels like almost. 5 Vape shops within a 4km radius.

Anyway I think my best bet would be to ask the shops if they ever have experience with making their own juice.
