DIY in China?

so after a month of searching I've found that taobao actually has vendors who sell US imported flavorings...

Found a few "US" brands and wanted confirmation from the forum that they are safe to use...assuming they are actually imported from the US.

1. TFA / TPA - The Flavor Apprentice / The Perfume Apprentice
2. Capella
3. Flavor West

Also, are there any risks involved with generic FDA approved PG/VG/Nicotine?

If the issue is that nicotine cannot be imported from the US, then I know a vendor that ships to China(atleast Hong Kong) and I have inquired to learn that they by default sends nicotine without listing nicotine anywhere on label and no invoice or other papers in the package. The bottle is just labeled VG or PG and then just the small batchnumber on the bottle starts with e.g. 100-xxxxxx for 100mg nicotine products. They use nicselect which is very pure nicotine and also have all other DIY products... If you're interested, then PM me for the vendor, as I don't want it to become to widely known...

As to your last question, no, there's no issues with "generic" PG/VG/nic, just as long as you get USP and/or EP grade materials, then you're fine. There can be small taste-variations, but that's the same between all brands, even the "big-names"...

Went ahead and ordered everything needed for my first DIY. Going to try the WTF OMG clone found on eliquid recipe.

Ordered
1. 130ml USP grade PG
2. 130ml USP grade VG
3. 10ml TFA/TPA strawberry ripe flavor PG based
4. 5ml TFA/TPA kiwi double flavor PG based
6. 5ml TFA/TPA sour flavor PG based
7. Various syringes 1ml-60ml
8. 100ml beaker
9. funnels
10. 30ml syringe glass bottles

Total came out to $20 bucks shipped. Crazy, thats how much I spend on 1 single bottle of ejuice. Lets see how the flavor turns out.



Question about steeping. Is it alright if I just let the mixture sit for a day and then vape it the next?

I've been DIY'ing juice in China for several years now. I get my PG,VG, and nic from a Chinese lab. It is excellent quality and pricing. As for flavors, I make runs to the US and stock up with flavor apprentice 4oz bottles and carry them back to China. I currently stock 45 flavors. I even made some killer ejuices I like way better than store bought.

any chance you've tried the flavors on taobao? I've had good experience gear wise, mods, tanks, coil master kits, ejuices, but first time trying to DIY eliquid.

Alright, made my first ~30ml of DIY ejuice according to a WTF OMG clone recipe I found...for some reason it came out to about 22ml...I must have done something wrong. Anyway, probably going to give this first batch to a friend so he can be my guinea pig lol
