I'm finding out that I really enjoy DIY and I am quite proud of my efforts to get educated about all the ingredients.

I have five 30 ml bottles of different tobacco flavors and mg levels steeping from my efforts yesterday. In 10 days, I get to play mad scientist and try them with different extra flavors. How cool is that?

Turns out that I make a pretty good Nicquid Sinnabun and, although it isn't exactly the same, it is fairly close and it costs me far less money:)

I love the secure feeling I have knowing that I can have my e juice without ordering from various vendors and waiting for the mail. I have plenty of supplies right here at home to keep me going for several months.

I love that I can make the ejuice in any strength I want. I have 24 mg in DK 555. I have 18 mg in Marlboro, English Tobacco, Virginia Fire Cure. I have 15 mg Asian Ry4. I have 12 mg Sinnabun. How cool is that?

So security, pride, convenience and a sense of adventure and accomplishment.

Who would have known that DIY would do all of that for me.

Anyone else want to talk about their favorite discoveries in DIY?

yeah I started diy and like it very much. I use to check my bottles all the time figuring out when to place another order. now its a non-issue. my last order from a vendor was in December. i'd like to go the whole year without ordering any vendor liquids but not sure I will make it. there are a couple vendors juices i'll probably order just because I like them so well. good luck

It's very satisfiying to mix your own juices. It takes time and patience but the rewards are awesome. It's so cheap if feels like a crime!!
It's just as fun to surf these threads and read up on recipies that others have created as it is to make my own. I like that there's so many others here doing the same thing as myself. There's like 1000 years experience on this forum if you add up all the users. PRICELESS!!

Actually, I didn't know it would be as simple as it is. I've already made several concoctions that aren't too bad at all. I also know what is going into what I make, and have total control over the amount of flavoring I want. First, I make a 5ml batch and adjust it until I like it, then I make 30 ml bottles. I have 16 bottles, and 16 different juices. I also have several small "test bottles". I keep records of everything.

The ejuicemeup calculator is a God send!

Now, if WL would only get their stock back on line!

So true, there are so many people that have gone before us in the DIY journey and they have unslefishly imparted much wisdom to us new DIYers:)

Amen to the ejuicemeup calculator and the "if WL would only get their stock back on line!"

So far, my two great loves of DIY are:

1) It's cheap. I do liquids for 5 cents a milliliter on average. I could go cheaper, but see no reason to do so, I'd have to drop the quality on the nic liquid or the flavors.
2) I like my standard DIY flavor better than anything I've ever bought.

:)

I haven't quite perfected some of my tobacco flavors. I would like to make one that tastes just like SI Ry4 and 555. Having said that, there is some pretty untastey juice for sale and I, too, think that my creations are better than what I was buying and for a lot less money.

I think i've been at the DIY for about a month, maybe a tiny bit longer. While i've made some mixes that were too weak on flavor, i've only had one that I just could not bring myself to vape. I went a lil too heavy on the flavor on that one lol. I can't wait for Wizard to have 100mg in 500ml bottles again!

My one mistake....
I made some lemon-lime, got distracted adding lime drops...should have been 10 drops- put in 30+ !

WOW- This one will take your breath away.
Let it steep for a couple of weeks...still bad, bad, bad !
Threw it out tonight.

The cost savings are great...the fun factor is priceless !
And to second the 'no worrys about running out'...
I live seven miles either way from a store-(14 miles minimum round trip)...when you come up the mountain, you had better have gas !
Used to 'fret' not having enough cigs for x number of days- even though I never run out of anything.
But just to aleviate one more 'fret'...loving it. Plus, getting to make whatever suits my fancy !

Too funny on the lemon lime mix:)

Yeah, I live 60 miles from the nearest place I can buy juice so...if I run out I am dead toast.

Heck, I live 30 miles from the grocery store.
