Does anyone else have this problem? I'm using various Capella flavors at 50/50 6mg...

My mouth gets dry after 4-6 hits. The one's I buy from the shop taste much juicer, less dry. Also, this one juice I made smells kind of burnt when I blow it out of my nose. Not sure what's causing it, maybe I need to add a bit of sweetener?

I can't remember which one, but I've read that either PG or VG acts as a desiccant and removes moisture from the mouth. I notice an improvement in the taste of my vapes after I take a drink when my mouth gets dry.

A burnt taste/smell could indicate too high a percentage of flavor. Coffee flavors are notorious for that among others.

I used to mix 50/50 and experienced a sort of dry harshness so I cut the PG back to 45% and add distilled water at 5% which seemed to make a noticeable difference. Sucralose sweetener in modest amounts seems to stimulate my salivary glands somewhat as well but YMMV on that.

My next experiment will be using a sterile saline solution at 2 drops per 10 ml along with the distilled water. Some recent threads have suggested the salt in small amounts helps enhance some flavors.
