creams and custards are added to bind single flavors together. TPA flavor are as Andria mentioned just building blocks. They taste terrible as a single flavor, but add cream like Bavaria cream, Sweet cream, Cap Vanillia Custard yum. just binded everything together.
Cream also give your mouth that full feeling as I found out with Cap Vanillia custard
