DIY Liquid: Evaporate Alcohol from Flavour Extract?

I have a magnetic stirrer with heating pad that I built for steeping liquid. I'm wondering: can I leave flavor extract in an open beaker on this to let the alcohol evaporate?

I have some chocolate extract from The Flavors Apprentice and it so harsh. I worry it might be my nicotine but I doubt it. I've got an iTEO wick on a 26650 Tobh and after a few pulls the flavor starts to stand out. The wick build holds a ridiculous amount of liquid and I seriously doubt the nicotine is evaporating off that quickly.

Ideas?

Yep. why not? Exposure to air will evaporate off some of the alcohol--heat will do it quicker.

I use a Peppermint extract from Watkins added to my homebrewed menthol mix and actually don't mind the alcohol in my mix. At the level I use it the alcohol content in the final mix is about 5% and many folks add 5% Pure Grain Alcohol or Vodka to mixes anyway...

Whats does adding alcohol to your mix do? I assume ifit's high VG it dillutes it but what other reasons are there for adding it? Sorry if this is a newb question. I just started making my own juices and would love any tips or tricks.

I think it's a flavor-carrier. There are methods to extract flavor without alcohol, too.
