In my personal opinion? The DIY forum; DIY e-liquid. Read everything you can get your hands on, sticky threads first. DIY is fun but it's also challenging and there are safety precautions. One wrong move and you've overdosed yourself, NOT fun, and possibly even dangerous. I spent a month going through the threads before I even attempted it, and then I started with a relatively low nicotine base to get the hang of it. We have some great juice suppliers here, so purchase some flavors you think you would like to recreate, sit back with your PV and start reading! :)

Once you've read up a bit as StormFinch suggests, take a look at some kits here:

Platinum Ice E.Liquid Mixing Kit.

Platinun Ice Mixing Kit Pro

Also, check out the videos on that page and the chart at the bottom. That's for IF you are using the 54mg Platinum Ice nicotine base - there are other calculators available at the link Stormy gave you.

The other aspect of the Decadent Vapours flavorings is that they are more complex that most other flavorings - having sometimes ethyl maltol (a 'smoother') and other things as part of their base as well as other herbs and spices already mixed as part of the flavoring vs. lorann's flavoring which are mostly one note flavors. The DV flavorings cost a bit more but once mixed, they taste more like some of the better 'premixed' ejuices. And their nicotine bases are in PG, VG and PEG where if you have a PG allergy, at least you can use a VG nic base as well. Some other vendors do provide that as well - at least in PG and VG.
