Hey i was wondering what type of dropper or syringes everyone else use to measure out all your substances for your mixture. maybe a graduated cylinder? What do you guys find most accurate?

Hi Ricky.

After trying droppers and Pasteur pipettes (these are the most comfortable), I've found that you can achieve great accuracy by using syringes. If you need to add 3ml to a mix, for instance, you can load 4ml in a 5ml syringe, and then add till 1ml is remaining in the syringe. That's the way you work with pipettes too, but I have more control with syringes (maybe I didn't get good enough pipettes :p).

I guess that graduated cylinders are also very accurate and you'll save some calculations, but you'll need more stuff (the cylinders) and you'll make more loading & filling operations.

Another vote for syringes. I use a 1 ml, 5 ml and a 10 ml. I keep one just for my nicotine (it is marked so I know which one it is). They are all thoroughly cleaned after use. Put some clear tape over the ml markings so they don't wash off after repeated uses. I also flush after using for each ingredient so that I don't contaminate my flavors and other stuff.

I tend to make large batches of juice because I don't like having to mix every week. I will use anywhere from 30ml to 60ml syringes. I find graduated cylinders to be inaccurate because the liquid will stick to the sides of the cylinders and not empty out all the way. The large size syringes work great! I got a 10pck off amazon of 30ml and 60ml for like 15 bucks or something.

I would not take nothing for my 100ml glass graduated cylinder. I also use a 10ml one. I love the glass because it is easy to clean and you don't have to worry about the smells getting into them. Just wash out with warm water. I have turned into a mixing sloth and just add drops of VapingZone gourmet flavorings to some unflavored nic juice. Easy peasy. Good luck to you and have fun with it. Happy mixing. :)

I love syringes for small batches. They are quick cheap and accurate. Most diy suppliers and pharmacies sell them. I have 1,3,5,10,30 and even some 60ml. The 18 awg needles work good for all but unthinned VG. I pour my Glycerine into a separate bottle, dilute, then pull with large blunt tip syringe. Wash and flush immediately after every use and final flush x2 w/distilled water. After I am done blending I shake excess water off and make sure they are dry. I don't smell anything or have any residue on them. If they have been used long enough for the marking to start rubbing off I think it's time to retire them and order new ones. Not a big investment and feel free to replace at any time.
